He Seems Incoherent Because He is!

 I am not going to make this so  much about the OWL.  But she posted something idiotic on her blog today.  Essentially she is one of the people who still give credit to orange Hitler's incoherent communication style under the label he uses for it.  The weave.  

Maybe I have spent too many hours reading psychology texts, and keeping up with the revisions and new editions of  The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, (currently Fifth Edition, to fall for that shit.

Add to that my BA in one of the story telling arts, Theatre.  And all the Communications and Video and Lit classes taken, and it is easy for me to get to the point.  An incoherent communication style, is evidence of an incoherent communication style.  Which itself is compelling evidence of a person having an incoherent mind.  

Particularly as his mental state, said casually and not as a credentialed professional's diagnosis, is demented and deteriorating.  I have to wonder about anyone still buying into that witless drivel about how its a deliberate choice.  He's the president of the fucking USA!  He isn't an avant garde, Hip Hop playwright and or beat box poet.  Perhaps not under Article II specifically, but as national chief executive, it is at least within the reasonable expected duties to be able to clearly articulate things about the nation and his administration of it's affairs, instead of doing "art."

No one should think why can't he do both?  There barely is enough time in the day for even more able people to do "the job."  And this bitch has less talent than a bucket of vomit.  So he fails at both, far as I see.

I am reminded of a sweet, and very attractive girl who worked on the same case with me, years ago.  Our office was located near NYC's Madison Sq. Park.  A lot of homeless people and otherwise mentally dysfunctional folk could be found there, any given day.  So one day we were talking about those kinds of people.  She mentioned to me something about how she liked talking to them.  I, a former family court lawyer who had several clients with issues, previously, could and did not agree.  I said flat out, I try to avoid them.    I literally actually backed away from her, to make a visual point.

Now I an not going to say only crazy people want to talk to crazy people.  But most of the people I know who do are either licensed mental health professionals, or people like lawyers who have a professional reason.

Not all that long after that chat, she got fired.  Her work was usually below quota, but one day she managed to not do any work at all.  I ain't saying she was crazy.  She wasn't incoherent.  But girl was not really living deeply enough in the usual reality most people I know exist in.

As if she had her own version of the weave for how she perceived life, significantly different than the reality based people have.

I am trying to be polite.  She was cute, and nothing but nice to me.  But yeah. Just past eccentric I would have to say.  The kind of difference the current version of the DSM would place on a spectrum you would not want to be, if being considered mostly normal matters to you at least.

Some people just don't give a fuck.

Oh, and one last thing.  orange Hitler is bat shit crazy, and on the bad side of the spectrum for several of these disorders.  Nevermind.  He is pushing 80.  A very unhealthy man, who likely has some organic brain problems that we likely will never know about, for sure.

I have gone months without mentioning the owl.  Not that she has stopped posting things so weird and twisted, it hurts my pretty brain.  Because her frequent defenses of orangenazi and his racist regime, are sickening.   And I am at the point where shit is so vile and abusive in America, that even the rhetoric is capable of giving me headaches.  But this example of brain vomit is hitting me in a particularly toxic way.

My default is you do you, let me do me.  Let everyone do their shit, as long as their shit doesn't interfere with someone else's shit, to do their shit as long as it doesn't interfere with someone else's shit.  I took that out a couple more iterations than usual to make a particular point.

I find love of one's "country" to be an absurd idea.  I usually just avoid the topic if it comes up IRL.  But me doing my shit is to on the one hand, let people think what they want.  As I like to say.  My life became a little less stressful once I understood.  People have a right to be wrong.  Leave them to it.  However.  Some lines of thinking lead people to berate people for no more of a violation than, "Hey.  That person doesn't think as I do.  That means I get to abuse them.  For not thinking as I do."

And shit like patriotic thinking too easily leads to abuse of others, for no greater a violation than thinking differently from the other observer.  Belief is one thing.  People have a right to be wrong.  But abusing people is where it really becomes socially indefensible a thing.

If one "loves their country," what ever the fuck that means.  And it must mean different things to different  people.  On account of, we are not dealing with absolute and or objective truths, and as well, people being different from other people, a lot of the time.  So have at it, as far and limited to your own beliefs.  But people do not have any right at all to make demands of other people to be and or think as they themselves do.  That is evil.  Don't be evil.  Let everyone do their shit, as long as their shit doesn't interfere with someone else's shit, to do their shit as long as it doesn't interfere with someone else's shit.

Personally.  I am warm to the idea of going semi expat.  If not the full monty.  You do you boo!

I don't owe the USA shit.  Fuck anyone who believes either directly or indirectly, they have a right to abuse me for wanting to call it quits.  I have my limits, fuck you, damn it.  You ain't my momma, or the boss of me!  And I am very good at setting boundaries!

The USA actually hasn't done shit for me in a concrete meaningful way, because it only is an abstract concept.  It is not a human being.  It really isn't even an association.

Now there is this thing called the government.  Very few people would say they love the government. 

And there is the real estate.  Rocks, and water, and shit that grows.  But there is a large spectrum of feeling for the real estate, from utter contemptuous rape and abuse of it, to the most devoted of husbandry.

And finally, there is the "nation."  In other words, the people.  And based on my experience living within the government boundaries of the piece of real estate.  Seems to me, the kind of American most likely to run around saying shit like how much they love "their country," tend to hate more than half of the people in that "country."  So I really don't know what the fuck any one person means, when they say, they love "their country,"

So yeah.  I think it is flat out vile to criticize people for being ready to call it quits, and not show love for an abstract concept.  And as well, it is vile and evil to assert people got to stick around if they wanna go.  That is some flat-out evil thinking.

I am a firm believer in personal liberty.  We all are free to to vote with our wallets and or our feet.  Fuck an one who says otherwise.  This a a default of how life is supposed to be, a society that actually respects individual liberty.

Pay Attention, You Idiotic Motherfuckers.

 It's not censorship when a web platform kicks people off because they are spewing bullshit. Remember. When The 1st Amendment was written, the people who ratified it did so when the printing press was state of the art, mass communication. And those guys knew and respected the unofficial printing press rule. Whoever owns and or controls the specific printing press, gets to decide what get printed on that printing press.

 I am only a couple weeks into detox from Glenn Loury and his side kick, John McWhorter's sometimes joint video chats. I call them both Black white supremacist sympathizers, enablers.  Because any Black man who buys into  the baseless, infantile, and ignorant lies about "western" cultural superiority is behaving exactly like white supremacist sympathizers, enablers would. And therefore have earned that description.  But wait.  There is more coming about idiots who don't really understand culture to come!

One of the reasons I go to the Owl's blog is, she is one of those on-paper smart people, who often says such unintentionally funny shit, I want to see  how she is embarrassing herself, nearly daily, but I do take breaks from her shit.  But usually, it is like back in the day when I used to read a daily tabloid newspaper, and had to check my favorite funnies.  But oftentimes, she is just tiresome.  Like today.  Not so much because of the article that caught her eye and posted about.  But tiresome because she went into grammar/syntax Nazi mode.  And the only thing more tiresome than a spelling Nazi  could be a grammar/syntax Nazi.  Anyway . . .

It was some review of sorts about some social commentary book, by some guy called,"The Crisis of Culture."  He's French.  That flavor of French.  The kind of tiresome Frenchman who has the time and inclination to bemoan the mash up of cultures.  

I have an earned degree in Theatre.  That is a variant of an academic program in culture, as Theatre even more that lit, is the original human storytelling tradition.  Our stories are greatly a reflection of and a record of our cultures.  So I call bullshit on the hypothesis.  All cultures we pay any attention to, have been mashed up with other cultures, going back thousands of years. That is an easily verifiable fact.   And you need not earn a degree in Theatre, World Lit, ot World History to learn that factoid! Anyone who denies that is a practiced, ignorant fool.   Now let me really digress.

I have been seeing reports that the "posh" British accent is actually a modern recent thing.  And as well, that the Elizabethan era accent should have sounded more like American English than the posh one.  Marvellous!  Just another fine example of the stupid shit people think they know, but is flat out wrong!

Anyway, I skipped the article she posted, and googled the scholar, Oliver Roy.  and found a critique.

Whatever, Trevor.  And by saying that, I am being deliberately, partially dismissive of that guy, too.  In this critique, as well as the book, the multi headed beast called appropriation, rears up.  I am not going long on that shit.  But since I approach these matters from the POV, that before America was a melting pot, Western Europe was.  And before Western Europe was. the Mid East was.  I will move on to the really important question, where the international version of culture wars are concerned.

Which faction is the most tiresome?  Cultural purists who bemoan the  mashing up of cultural shit, or the other kind, who lose their shit when ever some minor facet of "their" culture gets used by other humans?

 I accidentally looked at the Owl's about page, for her blog.  Maybe not for the first time, but read what she says about herself:

She is to politics, what an anti-vaxxer is to the sub field of immunology, which researches and develops vaccines.

In other, meaning my words, fucking useless, and you should not pay any mind at all to what they say about the topic.

I am not  not  not   making any statement on her beliefs about vaccination.  I am making an analogy, only.

The Owl, Who Has Admitted She Knows Nothing About Politics, Makes a Coo Coo Coca Puffs Prediction.

 Years ago.  When she would get invited to do bloggingheads vids.  I remember seeing her this one time.  She really said she really knows nothing about politics.  And then spent the next ten or more minutes proving it, by talking politics.  It's my favorite memory of her.   Anyway this.

I don't think anyone else has this exact scenario on their bingo cards.  We shall see, but ya know?  Only one of the two debate participants has been acting as if they don't want to do it.  And schockingly not.  It's the older one.  The orange troll who seems to be in cognitive decline.  I would go so far and say it doesn't look like ordinary pre senile dementia.  If I had to guess, there is some non age related cognitive loss of function.  As well, there could be lifetime of greater than average, physical damage due to poor lifestyle, diet, and otherwise health issues related damage.  And there is the mini stroke thing.  How many tiny mini strokes has he had over the past 30 or more years?  It could be greatly some cumulative effect.  

Let me google that.  Generally.  

Yeah.  I have a very sound theory of possible organic, neurological disease, for bozo.  

I am going to pass on directly speculating about what the Owl's brain scan's would show.  But I have a friend who is a professor of neuroscience.   I would be very interested in what he would say, evaluating her film.

 The Owl got it wrong.  As I expected.  Hoped?  Anyway. She doesn't know dick about politics.  And operates under the psychiatric delusion she can read minds, has some psychic power.  Whatever.  At minimum, she is fool enough to make a guess based on practically no data at all.  Maybe not a psychiatric delusion.  A lot of people do that shit, a lot of the time, and are not declared ready for a rubber room. But a lot of people say a lot of stupid shit.  And no matter how often proven wrong, proven not to know dick abut what they talk about.  The keep on spewing bullshit.  Wrong bullshit.

Ok.  Confession time, if it is not that obvious.  I call her out because the Owl has a rather average, ordinary mind,  Seems even on her best day.  But she doesn't seem to mind being seen saying dumb shit, and making really dumb guesses.   I rather either not guess at shit I don't know, or at least hedge.  She goes right out there, trips and falls face first into the shit pile that is public embarrassment.

For example. I have been basically refusing to predict the VP pick for Harris. I have been mostly saying shit like.  I don't have access to their internal polling.  I assume they are going to look at the math, and decide based on who has the best chance of helping win electoral votes in a battleground state.  

It's all about electoral votes!

And now that a decision has been made, I assume the numbers showed Walz was better math than Shapiro.  Given a minute or two to think it over.  Ya know?  No matter which of the two governors was picked?  The Harris campaign is going to have to dump a shit load of money in both states.

Fuck people's feelings.  Bozo made his selection of Vance more on feelings than math.  And look how that shit turned out.

 Reminder.  I say she doesn't know shit about psychology.  And even if it might at first brush seem to be innocent.  She posted a link from some WaPo article on narcissism.  Instead of her often employed drive by method of just posting shit  without comment?  She opines:

It's flagrantly dishonest.  Skeptical of what?   As someone who had my first contact with the DSM back in 1987, the idea that any one of the personality disorders is underdiagnosed is, well ancient knowledge.  Now whether it was her intent, she led the deplorables who comment there down the rabbit hole where the actual reality of if not NPD but all the personality disorders are being denied.   Perhaps even the entire field?   Conspiracy theory type thinking about Psychology is also ancient.  So as much as I would love to say she invented a new conspiracy theory.  She just dug it up  and employed it.

And then there is the political agenda.  The Leper Messiah is often described as not only clinically narcissistic, but all over the map of psychological disorders.   I guess the new, perhaps, tactic for his idiot horde is not to merely deny the behavior or accuracy of classification.  They are now denying the actual existence of the actual disorder.

I repeat.  Revolting.

Again. I have no idea whether she had intent to be this revolting.  I can only judge based on what I see.

The Flaming Idiocy of False Choices.

 Not gonna  say which blogger is the accidental birth mother of this post, but . . .

When one makes a false choice, as in, which of two possible forms of personality disorder The Leper Messiah might have?  One is in fact making a false choice.  I am not even going to go down the road really, about how under the current DSM, that there are many spectrums, and one can be well along several, but for saying that much.  The idea of having several mental disorders at once, is not new.  Anyway, the quote on the matter, that the google AI treated me to, today:

The OWL Hearts Bozo!

I am probably breaking some standard composition rule, for front loading what I think is the most critical fact about the verdict in bozo's fraud trial.  This isn't a figure for a fine pulled out of the air.  Like a punitive damages finding by a jury in some defamation, and shit case.  Like what happened in that case against Oberlin College.  Where the jury awarded $33M when even the alleged compensatory damages were flat out fictitious claims, at best.  In the NY fraud case, the fines are based on bozo's company's ill gotten gains.

And who seems to disagree with that?  The OWL.  Former law professor, who seems to have sweet spot for bozo.  Instead of recognizing that bozo was a crook, and got caught.  Shit.  I used to be a member of the defense bar. Even I admit.   People do bad shit.  They break the law.  And get caught.  It's kind of the social reason for having law courts and shit?  

I mean I get, it when the corrupt political hacks affiliated with The Federalist Society  rush to defend bozo.  It's seemingly required to be a proper member of that club.  But the OWL really isn't a member of those clubs?

What is her deal, I will never know.  She does such a terrible of of expressing her thoughts that, and this is my opinion, only.  They look and smell like ripe stinky brain farts.  That is metaphor.  She just doesn't seem to make a lick of sense.  Often.  Enough.  Even when the subject is law.  It's like she doesn't understand the most basic concepts.  Such as if one engages in fraud, to the verified level of  $355 million. One should be forced to pay the fine.  Of $355 million.

It might be true that some paranoid people might actually have people chasing after them.  And as well, some people who have people after them, might really be bad people.  And the people chasing after them, have factual and legal cause to do so.

Last point, and I will make a similar argument, in form.  I was there at the victory party for Tish James' first election to AG NY.  So I heard her say she was going after that crook. And to me it was less of a personal or political promise.  It was more like when, some 18th century village is plagued by a wolf.  And the previous constable failed to catch the wolf.  And someone else stands up and says something like:  "Make me the constable.  I will go after the wolf.  I will catch the wolf."  

Even if I am not a New Yorker by address,  I am a native of the area.  And for most of my adult life, a NY worker and taxpayer.  So like so many natives.  I knew that bozo was even if not a wolf."  He was a chizzler, and a cheat, and a fraud.  And I like the idea of his ill gotten gains going to the coffers of NY.  Hope they make good use of the money.  The city, particularly, needs it!

I am not in doubt there is an internet trend towards this . . .  let me find the right word . . .  content.  I will not call it a trend myself, as there is no available data that this statistically counts as more than cosplay, click bait,  fake bullshit.

But some people.  Even some retired law professors often fall for clickbait, be it cosplay or otherwise.  And post dumbassed shit on their blogs without doing the analysis:

Did the writer of the article I mean to share, actually do the research to support the naked claim, this is a trend?

At the next level, google the issue your damn self, and try to find the data your own damn self.

If you do not find data that supports the writer's argument? You should either post with a disclaimer:

"Warning! There seems to be no evidence to support what the article says.  I post for shits and grins, only!"  Or somesuch.

Of you should not post at all. We live in the Age of Disinformation.  Responsible humans should not contribute to the disinformation!

PS. I went with cosplay instead of LARP.  but honestly.  It's the same shit, different label.

I have a BA in Theatre, and my first career was in sho biz.  And after that, became a lawyer.  So I have a finely tuned sense for bullshit.  But I don't think people need the degrees I  have, to be able to ask themselves:

Is this shit I am seeing on line, real or fake?  Even better.  Should I ever assume some shit I am seeing on line, is real?   The answer to the second question is fuck no!  Never assume shit you  see on line, is real.  Wait for the proof, or go look it up yourself. If you are seeing shit on line? You are already likely on line.  Google that shit!

Why the Idea of Western Civilization is More Myth Than History

A follow up to the last post.

It's a Myth 

It's as Insane as Believing in The Lizard People.

Believing that there actually is a thing called western culture, never mind believing it is superior.

First, the quickies:

 The Dark Ages only happened in Western Europe,

the Eastern Roman Empire remained civilized, and greatly Eastern, culturally.

The renaissance wasn't the rebirth of European culture.  That was just when some Florentines came up with some interesting painting techniques, as

The real rebirth happened when the Moors and other North African Muslims conquered the Iberian Peninsula, and brought the following to the savages:

        math, engineering, architecture, medicine, literature, music, dance, fine and decorative arts,                   education, hygiene, sciences, astronomy, cuisine.  

Did I miss anything?

This is why as of today, I am saying belief in the superiority of western culture is as insane as believing in lizard people.  The evidence that so called western culture is Eastern, Middle Eastern, North African culture in origin, is incontrovertible.  Particularly if you are a middle aged or older adult who has spent your career in academia.  And have been surrounded by this evidence on a daily basis.  For years and decades.   And that leads to my point about how I hope to never be in a room with either Professors Loury or McWhorter.  Because both have made public allegiance to the mythical lie that so called western culture is superior to others.  As crazy as believing in lizard people!

Granted, just because of where I live, I am more likely to run into McWhorter.  But I should avoid talking to him because I think that anyone, never mind a Black, who believes western culture is superior to others is too fucking stupid a person for me to waste a minute talking too.  And in my free time I have actually war gamed it out.  Basically, but for perhaps some relatively obscure facts about the Muslim Caliphate in Iberia?  I would not tell any professor any thing they have not already been exposed to.  So why should I waste my time if given the chance to waste my time thusly?

It's like the experts say.  It is a waste of time to try to educate someone who has given into some conspiracy theory.  That is why I am making the link to lizard people believers.  It's the same kind of  emotionally stubborn stupidity, but for a different untrue belief.

I am less than obsessed but curious about Blacks who to my mind have an ugly and obvious case of  colonial victim Stockholm syndrome;  Over identifying with the so called western colonial oppressor's  so called culture. Granted.  The pressure is hard.  Assimilate!  Fit in!  Be more like a white TV family! But this is the 21st Century.  And we do have the internet.  There a many videos and essays on line explaining human civilization and history.  There really is no excuse not to get the basics about how so called civilization did not spring out of western Europe.  It was brought there!

But I would like a better term than colonial victim Stockholm syndrome.

So I googled for  "what to call a black who over identifies with white culture?"

Did not find any candidates.  So until I or anyone else comes up with better?  Colonial victim Stockholm syndrome.   Oh.  But I am a Star Trek fan.  And there is the evil species that assimilates others, and makes them into drones.  Yeah.  Drone works.  But I doubt it will go viral. But I have tried before.  I have some friends with bigger platforms  and audiences.  And I can always comment  on big media sites.

Drones.  Yeah.  Honestly, that came to me while writing this.

I could be wrong.  I am sure I am not.

Old White Lady Has an Emotional Breakdown. If She Acted Like This On A Subway

I am sure the old white lady would argue that her shit fit somehow was not really that ugly, and needing intervention.  And beside fucking up horribly on the law?  That is what is totally fucking wrong with her and anyone else defending the subway strangler.  Who the fuck is actually trained, and experienced, and certified enough to make the call between not so dangerous, and actually dangerous people having shit fits?  And let us be plain.  Cops are not well enough trained!

There has been this much needed debate following the George Floyd murder, about the blatantly insufficient training of  cops regarding people in emotional or otherwise mental distress.

I am a little better experienced but not trained, because I did family court for three years in Philly as a lawyer.  I am most sure about what I do not know, however, as opposed to being sure I can tell who is going to go harmful violent, instead of just obnoxiously loud and demanding attention crazy, verbally violent.

Oh.  Where she fucked up,  like One L  badly fucked up?  In the comment section of her post on this shit?  She sort of seemingly deliberately missed the obvious fact that wrapping your arm around someone's neck to subdue them is precisely the kind of risk of killing another activity that the manslaughter laws criminalize. Intent to kill is not an element. It is engaging in conduct where the risk of killing another is so great that as a society we say, collectively.  Don't do that shit.

Before I end this.  And as a lawyer I find it disturbingly humorous to read or hear non lawyer talk law.  I did go through a lot of her homicide loving fan boi's  and occasional girl's posts.  A lot of them seem to think this is a hard case for the prosecution.  Not really.  And a lot think that self defense defense of others is going to be the think that winds the day for the strangler. 
   

The crime is (let me get the correct language)

Under our law, a person is guilty of Manslaughter in the Second Degree when that person recklessly causes the death of another person. 

The following term used in that definition has a special meaning:

1 A person acts RECKLESSLY with respect to a death when that person 

engages in conduct which creates or contributes to a substantial and unjustifiable risk that another person's death will occur, 

and when he or she is aware of and consciously disregards that risk, 

and when that risk is of such nature and degree that disregard of it constitutes a gross deviation from the standard of conduct that a reasonable person would observe in the situation.

And yes self defense is an affirmative defense.  That means the prosecution has to prove it wasn't.   I am not going to say that is going to be a slam dunk.  But.  I think the lack of evidence of a real imminent threat is going to be easy to show.

Oddly enough.  The Strangler would be better situated with that defense if he used a gun, not his arm. 

I can just imagine the potential witness for the prosecution describing how after the first minute or two that it is perfectly logical to believe the strangler knew he was killing the victim. So it shifts in theory to a matter of at what point did the self defense defense no longer apply and full responsibility for the unlawful taking of a life become the factual truth?  That is a winnable case for the prosecution.  

As soon as the victim stopped resisting?  And as soon as some on the subway car started saying he was killing the victim?  That is the point his conduct clearly became outlaw.  But far as I am concerned?  The Strangler's choice of strangulation as a means of subduing the victim was outlaw.  Out of several choices?  Kick him in the nuts?  Punch him in the face, or belly, or side of head?  He was a marine for crying out loud!  He was trained in various forms of physical violence. And he went with strangulation move?  

What the fuck, guy!

Some People Are Just Too KooKoo Coca Puffs

 Loathsome?  Some blogger I will not identify any more closely  save for the tag thinks it is loathsome for FNC to continue to pay that white supremacist  while keeping him from doing the TV kinda thing during the remainder of his contract.

The mother fucker signed the contract.  In return for shit loads of money  he bargained away his chance to do the TV kinda thing with anyone else during the operation of the contract.  That is about as fair as it gets.  Loathsome?  Hardly.

And the motherfucker makes 35 motherfucking millions of dollars in a year.  So over the course of the next 18 months  the motherfucker will earn over 50 million dollars for doing nothing at all.  Or for doing what ever the fuck he wants during that time.  Anything but the TV kinda thing.

I want that kind of loathsome job!  Most people on the planet would!

Before I hit publish.  I just remembered one of favorite bits from that show "Moonlighting."  The office staff go on strike, and the ridiculous chant they use, with David leading the thing, is, "No work  and pay!"

Nothing loathsome about that, if you are getting the featherbedding deal, and legally.

Anti Trans Prejudice and Bigotry is Fucking Lame. Don't do it!

I can't be sure, as who can be sure about shit on the internet?  But it seems that following their video featuring bigoted and prejudiced anti trans bile being taken down from YT?  The professors disabled the comment section on the blogging heads page re that session.   I don't know if this is temporary.  I suspect professor Loury is at least angry on being censored.  I hope he does realize he crossed the line into bigoted and prejudiced content.

Unfortunately we are in one of those moments in American life and times, when some of the Republicans are digging in on some old fashioned bigoted and prejudiced views.  It's a shame that the father of a gay son has that much trouble giving people slack to be who they are, even when it seems to go against the usual ways.  But that is the problem, as I got into on my FB today.  In short, nature/biology does not work in only a binary way.  It throws up and out variations. It is the ultimate diversity generator.  You don't have to like it, but to deny that is just motherfuckingly ignorant.

Anyway, below find what I tried to post, particularly following the prejudiced and bigoted comments about the video being pulled, and the trans related issues, from the usual suspects over there on Loury's channel.  But the current "conditions" would not let me:

 Just because you deeply and truly believe a thing, does not mean it is not prejudiced or bigoted. Oddly enough or not, that might make it more likely to be a prejudiced or bigoted thought.

My guess is the vid was taken down on account that some of the opinions expressed were found to be prejudiced, and or bigoted against trans people. Disagree with that all you like. But I am operating out of the text book definitions. Ironically humorously, the portion of the session that is still up on YT features the tag line, "Your feelings are not facts." I suggest those are words to live by, professors.

Get Off My Lawnism is Fucking Lame. Just Fucking Stop it!

 So earlier this week I went off my discipline and remarked on some vid featuring both Glenn Loury and John McWhorter.  Now the "notes" I chose to give them are not the point.  However, I am going to call them both out here for the same lame, cognitive and behavioral error.

Both are essentially cranky old men.  Now you don't have to be actually old, to act like a cranky old man.  Decades ago, I remember reading some piece about the young fogeys.  The idea was that young Republicans, in adapting the beliefs and mannerisms of their elder Republicans, essentially became cranky old folk.

And I could go long, but I will try to be brief.  No matter your age, when your way of engaging with the world is to complain about people who don't live their lives as you want them to?

You have become a cranky old man, woman, person, shit.

I have to note that people are free to be a cranky old man, woman, person, shit.  But fucking no one generally loves them.  As soon as a crank starts a crank that people disagree with, the odiousness of the cranky person is obvious.  But if they crank on something agreed with and or about?  They are tolerable.  Until they say something not on the other party's crank worthy list.

I am reminded of the old George Carlin joke about how anyone driving slower than you is a fucking asshole  but anyone who drives faster than you is fucking crazy.  It's that kind of dynamic.

Anyway.  Feel free to be a cranky shit if that is you doing you.  But understand the dynamic.  And that means most people will find you tiresome and well dull, most of the time.  Because that is what cranky shits are.

One last jab at another offender. Bill Maher?  this includes you too, babe.  But honestly  you are playing at a higher level.  Like drunk uncle at the bar after his 5th beer, level.

White Entitlement to be Cruel. It's What they Want!

 I will only briefly mention the old white lady. It was on her blog, I noticed a post dealing with the Bud Lite transgender influencer, train wreck.

First things first.  I despise Republicans.  They give me so many reasons to despise them.  And if one of those reasons is not under the category of hypocrisy, it likely falls under the category of cruelty/hate.  If not both.

For this exercise, let us lead with hypocrisy.

Republicans say they care about so called free speech.  And yet they wage their culture war on people who dare have different thoughts and beliefs than they do.

They say political difference needs to be tolerated, when it is them, though, specifically when they are being cruel and hateful.  (We will get back to this part.) But and again, they wage their culture war on people who do not share their socio political biases and prejudices.  That is what this anti woke shit is all about.  It is blatant, and obvious.  And it more resembles a 21st Cent. Witch Hunt than any thing they call a Witch Hunt.

So let's get back to the trigger event.  I have got back in the habit of maybe a couple, two times a week, on average, taking a peek at the commenters section on the old white lady's blog. While I mention her, I still call her out for maintaining a safe space for white supremacist, hate mongering, shit faced, dick nosed white trash.  (I can't use that term on FB. But I can here!  Vive la difference!)  In any case, usually when I do that, I start off with the default setting:

read until he first lie, or flat out hateful shit you see.  

But sometimes I stick to it a little longer.  so I get a full reset and refresh on the matter of why it is only fitting and proper to despise Republicans.

(Let me check.)  Eight posts in, I find this post.  And before I post his words, at least this particular white supremacist, hate mongering, shit faced, dick nosed white trash isn't hiding his true feelings:  There goes your proof.

No one really cares about Mulvaney. there is no organized opposition to him as an individual. The opposition is to the movement that would cancel me for referring to Mulvaney as him. It was a boycott of Bud Light, not Mulvaney. Focusing in on Mulvaney is exactly what the Left wants you to do.

"Oh look, that nasty Republicans are being mean to poor Dylan. That's not fair! See I told you they were evil, just like Whoopi said!"

There goes your proof.  I's not even about the target of the attack.  It is about their sense of entitlement  to be cruel and hateful.  I am sure many of them truly despise anyone who they feel is inferior to them, and will go to any length of deceit and deception to oppose people who are different.  But yeah.  Some of them are in it just for the shits, and giggles of being cruel and hateful. They feel entitled to be cruel and hateful.  They care more for that than being a good citizen, a decent person, or even a good Christian.  

Before I end this.  And I likely would not last that well and long in a debate with Jonathan Haidt, the Psychology professor who argues that Republicans, conservative are not wicked, but just have a different sense of morality.  I would not last long as my refutation of that argument mostly is:

what the fuck kind of morality is it, where the group and its members claim superiority because their leader says they are superior, and gives them, either directly, because the leader is alive, or through the sacred texts, because the leader is invisible magic people in the sky, the sacred right to be cruel and hateful?  I am calling bullshit!

By that definition of morality, every evil movement, nation, clan, or mere tribe in history gets the cover of being an alternative moral unit.  I repeat calling bullshit.

Well, and the irony hit me, just now.  The only justification for the existence of the GOP is the most disgusting sort of moral relativism.  Which those guys say they hate.  Which brings us right back to the hypocrisy part.  That is used to defend the being cruel and hateful part.

And so on, and so on . . .
