A New Study Shows Us the Single Biggest Motivation for the Jan. 6 Rioter...

Jan. 6th was more about white supremacy than anything else.  What else is new?

Don't get me wrong.  I am happy they crunched the numbers.  I am just not at all surprised in the least.

Not a Political Scientist, or Even Former Hack

Ann Althouse posts about what Glen Greenwald, also not a political scientist has to say about politics.

Correction to what I said yesterday about her being attracted to shiny things.  She can be distracted by dull, witless shit too.

Re Greenwald?   I don't consider him a serious journalist. I grade hard on that shit.  To me he is a (on paper) smart enough lawyer who got famous not because of what he did, but who his client was.  And he got on the TV  and liked fame.  And he has not been a lawyer for some time now.

I am all stuck on the idea of pseudo intellectuals  lately.  I would not call him that, but . . .

He has the same core affliction.  He is desperate to be taken seriously.  Pathetic!  Beyond that, I don't really know what is his damage?

Why Fucking Law Professor Amy Wax's Fucking Remarks About Fucking Cultural Superiority

fall within the Federal definition of racial discrimination.  And why it is perfectly appropriate to call her and anyone who agrees with her, a white supremacist, or enabler.

From the DOJ website:

"Federal laws prohibit discrimination based on a person's national origin, race, color, religion, disability, sex, and familial status. Laws prohibiting national origin discrimination make it illegal to discriminate because of a person's birthplace, ancestry, culture or language. This means people cannot be denied equal opportunity because they or their family are from another country, because they have a name or accent associated with a national origin group, because they participate in certain customs associated with a national origin group, or because they are married to or associate with people of a certain national origin."

Stop the fucking bullshit.  It should not have to  be laid out this clearly.  But here ya go!

Michael Jackson - Man In The Mirror (Official Video)

Ok.  So I thought about this song in mind of John McWhorter.  He seems to lack enough of an ability for self reflection, as he repeatedly self owns himself.  Such as what I mentioned in my last post.  In it he describes a certain kind of selling out, where he in theory could go out there performing some kind of complaining against his rhetorical antagonists, act.  And in doing so, choosing some kind of cheap, lazy way to make money, and get the acclaim that being that person can get.  And he says he will never do.

Which I find to be totally lacking in any self awareness, as he is now more famous, perhaps even overexposed in the media, for his book which is a hit job against his rhetorical antagonists.  Which is less mind blowingly weird, as it is typical for  a

pseudo–intellectual /ˌsuːdoʊˌɪntəˈlɛktʃəwəl/  noun
plural pseudo–intellectuals
Britannica Dictionary definition of PSEUDO–INTELLECTUAL
[count] disapproving
: a person who wants to be thought of as having a lot of intelligence and knowledge but who is not really intelligent or knowledgeable

— psuedo–intellectual

 adjective

But ya know?  It has been years, and I forgot about the content of the official vid for this song.  Yes, it is dated.  But it still works on multiple levels, particularly as here we are.  Decades later, and not really measurably better off. And there is a damned good argument we are worse off, as a planet wide average.

But since Loury is the one who is aligned with the forces of evil, and by that I mean conservativism and all its horrors and degradations?  He needs to listen to the song too, until he gets it.  That he is not only not part of the solution, but he is a side show barker for the problem.

The way shit gets done in human society has historically been horrible and evil.  And you believe in maintaining the status quo as default?  The word for that is evil!

And The Most Amazing Thing to Me Is . . . They Think They Smart.

Here I go again, picking the low hanging fruit.  Doing my rendition of Capt. Obvious.

Let's call out retired Constitutional Law Professor, Ann Althouse yet again.

First ,what she said:

Has anyone on the Cheney side ever explained how it could be possible to think that overrunning the building could overthrow the government? I wish people on both sides would use accurate language, but of course, they won't.

Now my response.

Ex Constitutional Law Professor. Now on the one hand, my preferred term for what happened in Jan, 2021, and still continues today insofar as conspirators are still conspiring to seize the Federal government, and never let go?  My term is putsch.

From the web. What Google gave me on it's quick take results with answers:

Kapp Putsch, (1920) in Germany, a coup d'état that attempted to overthrow the fledgling Weimar Republic. Its immediate cause was the government's attempt to demobilize two Freikorps brigades. One of the brigades took Berlin, with the cooperation of the Berlin army district commander.Apr 5, 2022
I think that works better because there was inside and outside government conspirators.  And there was violence before Jan. 6,  and on that day.  And we have been living under repeated calls for more violence by people sympathetic to that group of people succeeding in their treasonous goals, since.
So as far as congress critter Cheney and or her people needing to explain what they mean?  Read a fucking dictionary.  And some news reports. Google that shit.  I did.
And this is what I found:  If that does not suffice, professor, that is on you.
“I think what we have seen is a massive and well-organized and well-planned effort that used multiple tools to try to overturn an election,” the Wyoming Republican told CNN’s Jake Tapper on “State of the Union.”
If that does not suffice, professor, that is on you.
Like my title says, I am amazed they think they smart. I am not going to go all that much deeper on what Lory and McWhorter said in the full version of their last chat vid.  But I did finally watch all of that pro white supremacy  (that was on Loury, mostly) vid.  They both think they are some kind of thinkers.  My reply to that is:
"Are you negroes sure about that?"
As far as Althouse goes.  I would say she is a very shallow thinker.  She see the surface of something.  Naturally through her own filters.  And I am not saying they are consistently the same, or as locked in, partisan hackish, as a garden variety GOPer. But we all have our own biases.  But one really is not  a thinker unless one can see past their own biases, and go deeper.
She is more of a "Ohh!  Shiny thing!" kind of commenter, than  Loury.  Who works so very, very hard to toe the party line.  He is more of a  . . . .  "Did I say the right thing? Oh. Oh.  I need your approval.  Love me, you white people," kind of commenter,  And McWhorter?  I think he used to be generally reasonable.  But he is seemingly moreso becoming a centrist Dem with a heavy case of "Get off my lawn."  He describes himself as a cranky Dem. I describe him as someone who needs to repeatedly listen to MJ's "Man In The Mirror," song, until he understands, he is greatly what he claims to dislike in other people.  As a side bar.  I confess to being a recovering internet troll.   I have not always been as fair and objective as I am now.  Hope to be?  Maybe someday?  I am still a work in progress.
Oh. In the full version of that last vid, now up on bloggingheads.  At one point he makes a point about not being a sellout, in the context of his remarks at least.  He says something to the effect his reason for not doing that is he does not want to die having done that.
And to that, and to the guy who wrote a book slamming people who disagrees with him?  I say:
"Are you  sure about that, negro?"

Leave it to Ann Althouse to get shit all the fuck wrong.

I am not saying some stupid people don't think the way her comment suggests.  But her take on the failure the cops to rush that school to try and rescue those kids and teachers?  Fucking dumb, in the sense of coming to the wrong assed conclusion.  Here is what she says:

"ADDED: If the police don't arrive and save us from violence, how can this event support the argument for restricting guns? This is the very situation that makes the most responsible people want to own guns. It reminds me of the summer of 2020, when there were riots, and the police stood down."

I have talked before about how insufficiently trained the average cop in America is for their average day.  But in some extreme hell of a day, going after someone armed with an AR-15?

Consider the real likely reason the cops did not rush in. They did not like the odds.

An AR-15 is a perfect killing machine from a distance of way over 100 yards. And a pistol,  except in the hands of a well practiced marksman?

Let me put up a quote from some gun guy's website:  His point:

"I will offer a word of advice, if your threat is beyond 25 yards, and you have a rifle nearby......go for the rifle

🙂 "

His point is strictly on the mechanics.  I am always thinking of competencies.  So the solution is not pass out pistols to school faculty and staff.  The solution is get the military style rifles off the market, and away from citizens.

Glenn Loury Sympathizes With Amy Wax's Immigration White Supremacist Bullshit.

At least in this vid.  But you don't get to play devil's advocate unless you claim to. So I will assume he means to say what he says.  That is ever the default.

Hitler loved the white supremacist American immigration laws so much he referred to them with admiration in Mein Kampf.  I say that mainly to show how  white supremacist American Immigration laws have always been.  Loury is operating, seemingly, under the delusion people can just ignore that history and reality, and just talk about protecting the border.  Insane!

I mean yeah.  He not only avoided the overt kind of white supremacist vitriol an out of the closet white supremacist would use.  And he even avoided the not even believably much less white supremacist bullshit Amy Wax uses;  the culture argument, flat out, at least.

But he goes there with out using the word culture.

Negro please!  What change from a shift in demographics that can happen over the next 40 or 50 years do you, as a negro, fear?  Either way, black folk remain a minority.  We will never be dominant here.

More is the point, what are white trailer trash Americans afraid of and or trying to preserve?

The demographics are going to change, as long as the white trailer trash Americans do not go full Nazi, anyway.  Which could happen.

Lastly,  I am disappointed in John.  Negro please!  Bozo meant every worst inference when he said that line about Mexicans  all those years ago.  Let us never pretend otherwise.

"I don't want to call you a dummy, but . . ."

Said my contracts professor to my one, hapless classmate.  On to Ann Althouse.

She was remarking about the sexual harassment claim about muskrat.  Which he telegraphed the day before it hit the fan, by proclaiming himself a born again republican, and suspiciously predicted people would come after him.

"Of course, if the allegations are true, that's very bad. But what I'd like to know is how many men are inhibited from coming out as conservative — or just anti-Democrat — because they know there are or could be allegations like this held in reserve. How much control is achieved by this method of only going after political enemies? We can't get all the allegations out, because some men are protected, protected by their own political pretense."

First things first.  Liberal, Democrat men have been taken down by metoo/sex scandals.  So her premise is moronic. Secondly  serious conservatives/democrat haters get lots of cover from others of that degenerate ilk.  So not only that but it seems to me  muskrat was deliberately pledging the frat before the bad news he I am sure knew was about to drop, dropped.

Lastly, the real interesting question.  The one that actually fucking matters  from anything close to a rational, sociological and just general POV.

How the fuck many men from any and all points on the political compass are just hoping shit they have actually done never gets out?   And the answer to that is the very scientific measure, a motherfucking shit load.

Kudos To Althouse, for a change.

She got close to calling out some of her scum bag white supremacist fan bois, racists.

The issue was over the new and Black WH press secretary.  I mean kudos, for getting that close to what I would call a Captain Obvious moment.

My default is to assume Republicans are white supremacists, or at least enablers.  History has taught me there is no point in thinking otherwise. So the idea that a bunch of Republican would be hyper and nastily critical of the new press secretary because she is black?  Did I mention history already, here?

Nevermind the Republican alternative reality, where whoever calls any of them racists are the real racists.

I suspect Althouse knows she the Queen Bee of a hive of white supremacist scum.  So she, I guess, treads lightly on those matters.  Not to mention that even if Black and brown folk in America got to let some white supremacist bullshit slide un remarked, as otherwise we would not have time to do much anything else.  I suppose a lot of white people let shit slide because they don't want to lose friends and family, and shit.

Crude. Simple. Constitutional.

Wednesday, May 11, 2022

Yo! Ann Althouse! Are you a retired law professor, or some Fox News zombie?

Let me directly quote the insanely idiotic shit she posted today about the legal philosophy camps, I am a decades old member of.  The Vance in question is that skank a slore running for senate, who was recently called out in the press for  . . . . deliberately, with intent to mislead and deceive, coming fucking close to accusing P. Biden of deliberately getting trailer trash hooked on fentanyl.  His quote:

"It does look intentional. It’s like Joe Biden wants to punish the people who didn’t vote for him and opening up the floodgates to the border is one way to do it."

Her fentanyl addict-esqe defense of him:

"Vance's reason is the same kind of reasoning that Critical Race Theory analysts and radical feminists use to find systemic racism and sexism. You hypothesize that those in power achieve nefarious goals by adopting policies that are superficially neutral but have a disparate impact that is intentional. That's something else you learn at Yale Law School."

No. No.  Fuck no, ex professor of Constitutional Law.  Let me school you, woman!

Critical Legal Studies, at the most simple, nutshell level says . . .

"Our government was formed by rich, powerful men, to favor them and people like them.

Critical Race Theory at the basic level adds, "And they were all white."

And the feminists say, "Did you miss the part they were all men?"

All are really less academic legal theories (at core) than they are rational observations of Sociology, particularly in group vs out group biases and preferences.    Yes, there is more to it.  But at their core they are saying . . . .  you set the car seat and the mirrors settings, to favor your legs and height and preference, not other people.

I am not gong to call her a dummy, but . . . ?

I actually heard a law professor say that in class to a student, the one time.  Hilarious.  My best moment in class with him was the time he gave me only half a star for my answer. Shit. I became a star for that.  Volunteering for judgement,  and getting half a star?  I built  a reputation for being fearless!  But I digress.

Kristin Du Mez: How Evangelicals Corrupted a Faith | Amanpour and Company

We are fucked I say!  Fucked!   This is what Alito and his gang of four are doing.  Even if they are extremist Catholics.   Just five or so minutes in, she explains.  Despite the fact these theocrats don't know where religion ends and their politics begin?  They don't think their churches are political?

This is how we ended up with a religiously biased SCOTUS majority, seemingly in denial they are religiously biased.  it's not their religion they are advancing.  It's "just" their  way of understanding the world.  According to them.  Fucking savages.

Even overeducated people can be so self delusional, apparently.  They too courses and passed tests on this shit.  And still they can be in denial about it.  Let's arrest them and put them in jail and throw away the key.

Alito's Reason For Overturning Roe: Decline In 'Domestic Supply Of Infan...

A reminder.  Critical Legal Studies stands for the idea that the rich powerful men who created our government did it to favor them.  And Critical Race Theory  (apologies to Professor Bell and the other CRT Academics)  says, and they were white.

Joy and her guests keep on talking about how this is about power  And that is true.  But my message still is this.  It is literally the job of SCOTUS to protect we the people from the rich white men who want to exert power over us.
That is, if the constitution and the idea of inalienable rights have any meaning.

Sad to say it, but thanks Alito.  You prove everything we CLS an CRT adherents have been saying is true.  You and your gang of four deserve to be arrested and sent to jail for life for seditious conspiracy if not treason as well.
