Liar Liar! Nazi Pants on Fire!

 

So I was watching an annotated clip from Abby Phillips' CNN panel show.  and as an aside.  The format is part of the national problem.  Either seriously and in real time fact-check the domestic nazi's lies, or you are too substantially validating the communicated lie.

Anyway.  The lie that was being repeated in this clip.  That drug dealers are terrorists.  I bothered to search.  And unfortunately, the specific statute that allows the Federal government to designate terrorists is written recklessly too broad.   And the current administration is taking advantage of that.

Unhinged from objective fact, and reason, and rationality, is how I describe what they are doing with calling ordinary drug dealers terrorists.  See below, how International law defines it.

Big difference.

I am reminded of the Apartheid era issue over the South African law criminalizing being a communist.  Whatever they said was evidence of being a communist, was evidence of being a communist.

Why Bozo Isn't Losing Polling Points for Being Insane-scary.

I think "The Daily Show" accidentally figured out what is really going on.  However.  I grade hard.  And I love that about myself.

I don't find bozo funny, charming, or at all entertaining.  I have actually had root canal.  And I would put suffering more than five straight minutes of him on a par with root canal.  At least closer to that than five minutes of any true "reality"  TV show.  Which I despise with a passion few can understand, unless they also despise "reality"  TV with a similar passion.  And I mean, where it really isn't a real competition, as in cooking, or singing, or a variety act competition.  And the only one of them I can at all stand is, "The Voice."  And I am far from a loyal viewer.  I am fickle.  Anyway.

My default is you do you boo.  But not when it comes to voting for bozo.  Be amused by him, if that is your low tastes.  But voting for him is a crime against many of your fellow Americans.  And yeah.  That is the point in voting for him.  In all seriousness.

It Would Be Sweet If He Is Arrested Too!

 

But word on the legal street in NY, is Jordan has committed the crime of obstruction.  I doubt it will happen,  but he is subject to arrest, in theory,  if he steps foot in Manhttan.

And some NY politicians are making a stink about him bringing his stinky ass to our city.  So  even if I doubt he will be arrested if he shows?  I wonder if he can be made to worry that might happen?

So for my Bingo card, I have he cancels the field hearing does not show up here.

Intent Matters!

 

Here is Ann Althouse, sort of siding with hateful, selfish, human dignity disprespeting Gov. Ron DeSantis.  As a quick sidebar.  If one sort of sides with hateful, selfish, human dignity disprespeting people and actions, does that mean one is in fact hateful, selfish, human dignity disprespeting people?  If you grade as hard as I do  the anser is an unequivacable, fuck yeah.

Firstly, my open question is, once an agent of the state government gets invloved, isn't there some greater duty of care called for than is being met here?  Humanitarianism, if not state and federal law, demans that!

Next, they are not coordinating with the relocation locations.  Intent matters, and that failure is evidence of bad faith.  What they are doing reminds me of this old game in my home town where the cops would pick up the local wino, and bring him across the town line, and try to make the wino someone else's problem.

Lastly, and as expected, the transportees are being lied to.  Just heard the specific charge that they are being told there will be not only basic services, but fast track to work authorization, if they take the trip.

I would never want to be associated with this kind of cruelty.  

Yo! Althouse!  The harm is to the transportees!  Are you that much of a Republican now that treating human beings like they are human beings is entirely dependent on how much they are like you, and members of your sociopolitical tribe?

Leave it to Ann Althouse to get shit all the fuck wrong.

 I am not saying some stupid people don't think the way her comment suggests.  But her take on the failure the cops to rush that school to try and rescue those kids and teachers?  Fucking dumb, in the sense of coming to the wrong assed conclusion.  Here is what she says:

I have talked before about how insufficiently trained the average cop in America is for their average day.  But in some extreme hell of a day, going after someone armed with an AR-15?

Consider the real likely reason the cops did not rush in. They did not like the odds.

An AR-15 is a perfect killing machine from a distance of way over 100 yards. And a pistol,  except in the hands of a well practiced marksman?

Let me put up a quote from some gun guy's website:  His point:

"I will offer a word of advice, if your threat is beyond 25 yards, and you have a rifle nearby......go for the rifle

"

His point is strictly on the mechanics.  I am always thinking of competencies.  So the solution is not pass out pistols to school faculty and staff.  The solution is get the military style rifles off the market, and away from citizens.

Nobody in Their Right Minds Want's to be That Person . . .

Oh and I going to shock lots of folk with the following statement. I am not in agreement with what the OWS people did yesterday. Setting up an informational picket line is one thing. Blocking people from their ability to make their daily dollar is another thing entirely.

What they did was allow their passion for what they believe in, to "give them permission" to screw with other people's rights. And that is dead wrong.

There is a name for that kind of person. Republican. Or asshhole, if you prefer. Words are interchangable. Point is, don't act that way, damnit.

Apparently Mrs. Palin and Mr. Delusional himself, Rick Santorum got into a name calling match. Well, Mrs. Palin was the one calling names, in a classless, nasty, passive aggressive manner.


Passive Aggressive Sow. Hey. Sow is the proper term for a female bear.

If one did not know better, one might wonder why the wing nuts are nutz for Mrs. Palin. But those sick puppies get off on that shit. Passive Aggressive shit has to be one of the most annoying character traits, on the list of repellent behaviour. And I can see the argument that what she did there was only superficially passive, as she pulled her punch. Either way, she's a repellent creature.

But here's the part I mean to say. Perhaps if we can keep the pressure on her, she will continue to say even more obviously nasty things (pulling her punches or not.) Hopefully, before long the real sow bear that is Mrs. Palin (notoriously, even if not yet caught on tap) will reveal itself, in all its nasty excess.

What do you expect from a woman who deliberately takes a sow bear as her preferred image?
