So I was watching an annotated clip from Abby Phillips' CNN panel show.  and as an aside.  The format is part of the national problem.  Either seriously and in real time fact-check the domestic nazi's lies, or you are too substantially validating the communicated lie.

Anyway.  The lie that was being repeated in this clip.  That drug dealers are terrorists.  I bothered to search.  And unfortunately, the specific statute that allows the Federal government to designate terrorists is written recklessly too broad.   And the current administration is taking advantage of that.

Unhinged from objective fact, and reason, and rationality, is how I describe what they are doing with calling ordinary drug dealers terrorists.  See below, how International law defines it.

I am reminded of the Apartheid era issue over the South African law criminalizing being a communist.  Whatever they said was evidence of being a communist, was evidence of being a communist.

So this Peltier v Charter Day School case proves my point, and specifically, we need judicial opinion reform.   For the briefest of recaps, original case was against a charter school for a mandatory girls wear skirts line in the dress code.

Case ended up in a full court review at the Fed appeals court.  The dress code was ruled again to be unconstitutional because charter schools are taking tax payer money to do tax payer work, and are state actors (as opposed to really private schools.). And as a result, have to follow the Constitution, and shit.

Now the dissent, which gadfly retired constitutional law prof  Ann Althouse was impressed by, was a brain fart of  such spectacular idiocy?  In short, was not based on law, but personal and cultural biases of the judges who signed on to it.

The need for opinion reform.  

Granted, this was a dissent, and usually they are given more leeway for personal delusions and disordered thinking.  However.  If your argument in a dissent basically boils down to liking an idea more than the constitution actually requires a particular result, and the majority decision ignores that and is wrong on the law?  Then keep your stupid admiration and biases the fuck to your self.  Do your fucking job.  As an American taxpayer I pay federal appellate judges to fix errors of law in the lower court, not fucking wax on about what they think about how shit should work.  Fuck their views about policy and social good.  I do not give a fuck about how they think shit should work.  Just do the fucking work.  Fix errors of law, and other errors when important.  Stop trying to set policy and fucking stop using opinions that usually, badly rationalize your biases.

Now part of the dissent sort of tried to maintain some semblance of roots in the law.  Apparently the issue was not crystal clearly previously articulated, that charter schools are state actors under the same legal requirements of actual state run schools.  If they stuck to that, I would have merely disagreed.  But the idiot judge went off on some crack headed defense of not only the skirt rule, but the kind of ignorant thinking that leads to things like the stupid skirt rule.  That is what I'm against here.  If you can make your case based on the law, fine.  If you have to rely on some pulled out of your or someone else's ass, bullshit argument?  You are trying to bullshit me.  I hate bullshit.  I despise bullshit arguments.  And I grade hard.

His histrionic love ode to capitalism was off the hook.  In a very troubling, ugly way.  You really get that passionate about capitalism?  That is abnormal, sir.  Not merely eccentric. Abnormal.  

And to act as if the Democratic party is anti capitalist?  Laughably dishonest.   Keep up with your evil,  dishonest party's current talking points, will you.

But to be generously fair, it is not as if right wing, Republicans are at all concerned with consistency of message.   

Earlier today, I went on at length on FB on the topic of trolling, and ended with the idea, you should own it and mean it.  I mean to troll Loury here.  I do that not because I think he is that bad a person.  My guess is that he is not that bad a person. 

But I troll him in particular as I believe with out any evidence , but for that part of his public record, and my credentials and experience in deconstructing performance.  I have a degree in theatre.  That is my first career.  In any case, I believe he does not believe in half the political shit he spews.  

I want to say only he knows the truth.  But ya know?  We will never know if he really knows now, will we?

How do I credit Althouse here?

 There is this current story about how some intolerant, bigoted, evil, bozo loving, Q Anon following, claims to have been there for the putsch on 1/6/21, internet troll-bitch had her anonymity stripped by some real (digital beat) journalist.  As expected, the other intolerant, bigoted, evil, bozo loving, Q Anon following internet troll-bitches are crying foul.  As journalists are not supposed to do that, tell the facts, and shit.  In what world?  Their group psychosis driven one!

I will credit Althouse for the post about this substack piece that to my mind well describes the game these right wing trolls are up to.  I consider Althouse to be a sort of troll herself.  

She is also high on the list of people I believe need to ask themselves:   

"Is it possible you are not even half as well informed as you believe, and as well not even half as intelligent?"

I am telling myself not to even peek at the "Mardi Gras vomit, mixed with pig shit."   that is the usual "gross" output of her trollish minions, in the comments section.  I am really trying to cut down on shit that is likely to hurt my pretty brain.  But if you are interested in an essay  (she calls it a rant) about how the GOP/Nazis are basically at war with the traditional press, and are promoting an all bullshit, all the time policy?  Then give this essay a read, I suggest.

PS. I read something quoting FL Gov. Ron DeSantis aping bozo, at least with a broad trollish remark about the traditional press, today.  We know this has been the game for a while.  It pre dates bozo, but it is more the norm for these rachet creatures than ever before.

 Watching GOP senators throw tantrums, have melt downs, giving biased policy based speeches, and actually dismissing the importance of judges to hear cases and impose criminal sentences based on rationality (instead of emotionally driven excess?)

I am well reminded of the difference between us and them.  

And while I am on it, Judge Jackson is an exemplar of competence and patience.  I think Cruz got close to getting to her. I don't want to make this a black thing, but at one point I got the vibe I recognize as the son of a black momma, that . . .  she had enough of that nonsense.  I will leave it there.

So Professor.  You wanna  do what Amber, Tarik, and I do not want to do ever?  Go back in time to earlier America?  Go back to the time of Geo.  Ok.  Let me get this straight.  A fraction of the minority of unvaccinated Canadian truckers are upset about their livelihoods being put on hold, by being given a choice?  They have the choice to remain unvaccinated and not to do cross US Border runs, or do them and face quarantine.  Or alternatively, they can take the fucking shot and get on with their lives and trade.

So in order to promote and protect their claim of a freedom right to be free from having to make a  choice,  and of being free to being an international self propelled bio weapon, they are forcing other people to suffer losses in their trades?  With out having a choice?  Just make other people suffer?

More than 90% of Canadian truckers are vaccinated! Most Canadians are vaccinated!  This protest is the most insane shit since the 1/6 Capital riot/Putsch.

I do agree with some of Trudeau's critics.  He is failing as a leader.  I would have sent in some combat engineers and military transportation specialists  along with RCMP.  The mounties say to the driver, move your truck or be arrested and we will seize your truck.  And those who don't comply are arrested, and then you send in the combat engineers and military transportation specialists to do their thing.

I think they won't actually have to do it that many times for the mob to get the message that they  are out gunned and out manned, and combat engineers and military transportation specialists are very very good at moving shit.

Pseudo Intellectuals, Gaslighters, and Other Common Toxic Scum.

 So I caught some of Andrew Sullivan's "60 Minutes," piece. I stand by my general opinion of him.  He is the most over educated moron I know of.  Even if he likely isn't.  Short version of it is he, like so many conservatives/republicans, believe in a mythology.  Well several, actually.  But they overlap like some Venn diagram of mental disease, disorder, dysfunction, and delusion.  

Lately, Sully has been getting press for being part of the anti 1619/CRT/Black people/factual and objective reality crew.  And I think he is part of the anti cancel culture crew too.  Like I said, Venn diagram.  Let me take another look at his "creds."  How can a bitch earn a PhD in Government at Harvard, and pretend to deny that the American nation was created by a group of wealthy elites who above all else, established a government to protect their wealthy elite class and interests?  And further and relatedly, that the legal system, not only is a system, but one that was designed to protect their wealthy elite class and interests?  And that given that the fledgling nation's total economy was greatly dependent on race based slavery, and required an invention of this thing called whiteness, in order to make the whole terrible thing work? Harvard should rescind his degrees.  It is one thing to graduate Harvard and join up with the forces of evil.  And by that I mean conservatives/republicans.  But it is another thing to run around saying shit that clearly ain't true, and furthermore clearly is in opposition to the core facts of his degree subjects and disciplines.  So fuck him.  Pseudo intellectual.

Next on the shade list is the NY Post's Miranda Divine.  Yesterday, or recently at least, she argued that Joy Reid is both a racist and sociopath for not believing murder boy Rittenhouse's teary performance was anything more than a performance.  And by extension, every white person also not convinced of his sincerity is a sociopath.  According to her.  Listen up lady.  Not having any sympathy for one specific person is not within the definition of sociopathy.  And every time a not white person references that a white person is white is not within the definition of racism!  Gaslighter!

And for other common toxic scum, let's mention dirtbag, traitor, convicted but pardoned con man, Steve Bannon. Throwing a fit outside of the court house after your first appearance on your brand new Federal crimes was not a good idea.  If you had a better lawyer, he would have told you to stifle it.  But that scumbag was spewing such bullshit himself that it is clear that being prudent was not his game plan, either.  Toxic scum!

Sometimes it is Worth it to Go Down the Rabbit Hole, Just a Bit.

So you see someone's tweet being reported as if they said something newsworthy, or worthy in some way.  And you never heard of them.  So you click on the link and go to their twitter page and you still are all . . .  who da fuck is this?  So you look around because you are there already.  And if you are lucky you hit pay dirt.  In my case to day, this line:  The actual line:

"During our show, I passed this storyline along fairly credulously."

The actual person's name is irrelevant.  Likewise, the story.  The point is doing that shit!   As a quick aside, the rest of the story is about how the writer chose to verify or not the story, after passing it along.  And they discovered they passed on bullshit.

Peeps are free to pass on bullshit.  Peeps are free to do all sorts of thoughtless, stupid shit.  And sometimes they pay for it.  Sometimes not.  And sometimes peeps admit it.

That is refreshing, when they do that!

What's The Opposite of "I'm Not a Racist, but . . . "

Structurally speaking?  The "I'm Not a Racist," construct starts with a bullshit disclaimer and then what follows is the exact kind of behaviour allegedly disclaimed.  Professor  Racist Dickface  (JMO) flips that on it's ass, defending  Killer Zimmerman's lying assed wife, for lying during the bod hearing for her killer husband.   Here, Prof.  Racist Dickface gives Mrs. Zimmerman a full defense  (argument.)  Then disclaims it by saying he is not condoning the behavior.  Go here for the   Mealy Mouthed Sack of Bullshit.

Then he says:

"I  am questioning the bringing of a felony perjury charge without greater specificity of the false statements, particularly while the alleged perjurer’s husband is awaiting trial in a highly publicized case."

Um.  Dickface.  Here's the thing.  Don't fucking kill anyone.  First and   foremost.  Second.  Don't shoot some unarmed kid.  That's gets you the publicity.  Third.  Don't bullshit the court during the bond hearing.  If you are the wife, don't bullshit.  If you are the defendant husband, tell your lawyer,"Um.  What she is saying is not exactly true."  And thirdly if you are the lawyer, and you know better than the testimony, you should be quickly disbarred.

Let me get this straight.  P. Obama is a bully for criticizing  as social darwinism, the latest Ryan Budget, and for expressing his hope and desire that the SCOTUS comes down on his side of the Obama Care case.  But it is OK for you to say this shit?
