What Do Megyn Kelly and the OWL Have in Common?

Both are lawyers, who are so sympathetic to bozo they are acting like they don't remember the most basic things about criminal law.

As a predicate. The criminal law allows for a misdemeanor to be bumped up to a felony, under the right circumstances.  Usually it's where there is a conspiracy.  Now Bozo wasn't charged with a conspiracy in the case he just lost. But the facts of a conspiracy were alleged.  And the NY law seems to allow for this kind of enhancement, under these circumstances.  And I am qualifying it with seems, as the very well regarded judge seemed to think it wasn't a stretch.  But based on personal experience.  Ya really can't predict appellate courts, particularly where the prior case law is a little thin on the exact or near same circumstances, and concerning the exact same laws.

Megyn Kelly had a better lawyer than her, or her podcast last night.  So I read.  She asked him to explain shit.  He explained shit. She ignored his I assume, accurate analysis.  She substituted her desired version.  And iirc, he properly stated the relevant legal standard.

Either the bitch was flat out not properly prepared.  As in, she should have looked up the law herself (or her assistant.) And she should have had a print out of the relevant law in from of her.

Or bitch lied.  Or both.

On to the OWL.  See the whack chunk from her blog.  I have pointed out similar shit before.  She does not seem to get it, that she has an eccentric brain.  Se isn't main stream.  Nor is she exceptionally insightful. And she doesn't seem to get, either that no the fuck any one else is obligated to think as she does, about anything.  And the onus is on her to be persuasive.  And she lacks the motivation to even try.  At least there (but it seems to be a pattern with her.  She makes an observation, and conclusion, and publishes it out to the world as if she were Athena, or Hera, or some other Goddess.  To my mind she resembles a drunk bar babe more, when she publishes her free thoughts, than she seems to realize.  And I have spent too way much time in bars. talking with drunk bar babes.)

And she isn't merely a not bozo hater. She has been very sympathetic to him, over and over.  Supportive, even.  And here she just ignores the way the law actually works.  Buying into the conspiracy theory shit is really shitty.

I don't expect better from her.  I expect this level of professional shortcoming.  Anyway . . .

Couple things more before I finish.

Anyone who thinks this is a conspiracy to get bozo, is a fucking moron.

Anyone who thinks this is a tragedy is a fucking moron.

Anyone who thinks this is, was mostly a politically motivated thing,  is a fucking moron.

I am a native of the Greater NYC area.  Large amounts if not a mere majority of people with an opinion of that evil fucktard have hated on his punk ass for decades.  Never mind since because he started a political career.

But in the end.  by itself, the conviction doesn't mean shit.  Its what happens in the next few weeks and months that matters.

Everyone is Fucked!

 Senator Vance Shamelessly Fluffs Trump.

I am not encouraging anyone to read this. Afterall. Nothing new about the low rent, low class trash that gets elected as Republicans, fluffing for bozo. They are not the ruling class. They are the minions of the ruling class. Being even a senator is too much like having a job. The ruling class do not have jobs. That is low class shit. They don't do low class shit. Mostly, most ruling class aristocrats follow that rule. Politics is low rent trash work, a job.

Don't get caught having a job. Having a job is low rent, trashy.

However, working on the family trust is not a job. It's looking after how family money is spent. Likewise, being on the board of directors of the family empire is not work. You are looking after the family assets. And you get to boss around or fire the CEO!

Ok. Baseline for my actual issue is set. I have said it before, but I wonder why the the ruling class hasn't retired bozo yet, and instead back a more reliable stooge?

I get why low rent, low class trash GOP senators kowtow to bozo. Never mind the GOP congresscritters. Most of that lot actually admire their Leper Messiah, bozo. But I will dismiss the GOP senators as bougie, or upper bougie, social climbing, two generations removed from plebes, who are willing to debase themselves for the sick, twisted, pathological lust for power.

I really don't get that pathology. I mean yeah. I rather live a life where nobody fucks with me or my shit. Who doesn't want that? But honestly, I don't want elected office. I don't want to be a senator or potus. Fuck that. I value my me time too much! But I digress.

Back to the ruling class. I really don't get it. Why haven't they realized that an unstable, nouveau riche, violently envious psychopath is a bad choice for guardian of their status and fortunes?

He isn't William F. Buckley. He isn't dedicated to the current social order, as much as he is personally greedy, and resentful. He despises the ruling class. Because he knows the ruling class despises him. And he actually sort of knows he is despicable. But he is who he is. And he will burn it all down, if that is what he thinks is necessary to appease his twisted ego, and sense of inferiority.

Not only are "we" fucked, if bozo get's back in the Oval. Even the ruling class is fucked. Because everyone and everything is at risk. All the fucking shit, is at risk!

Son of What Am I Missing? The Highly Suspicious Ilya Shapiro Incident.

I don't think I have riffed on this shit here, yet.  But it deserves my cult of free speech treatment.

Nutshell. "Libertarian" asshole lawyer, then at the right wing biased Cato Institute, gets offered a job at Georgetown Law.  It should have been obvious to him, that was a bad fit. The fit is so objectively bad, I will accuse him of at least knowingly setting himself for a potential starring role as a right wing victim (of their own bad judgment,) if not deliberately so. Because right wing victims (of their own bad judgment,) get lauded by other right wingers, as they advance the right wing narrative about how right wingers are victims, ignoring that part abut how they mostly are victims of their own bad judgment.  Shit. Earlier today, I saw a post by Ann Althouse about this asshole, with a link to some interview where the asshole crows about how happy he is to be (finally?)  controlling the narrative.  That is not proof positive this was was a set up, and that he deliberately scammed, punk'd, "owned" Georgetown Law.  But if it quacks like a duck?  Let's move on.

Even before he started his job there, he got in trouble for some white supremacist bullshit he tweeted about how P. Biden would appoint a "lesser Black woman" for the SCOTUS vacancy, than his believed superior candidate, who happens to be a man, but of Indian background.  Like most of them do, this white supremacist denied intent to be taken for a white supremacist, or to deliberately say white supremacists bullshit.

I can easily believe he knew enough to know talking about a Black woman that way was going to lead to accusations of his being, and/or saying white supremacist bullshit.  He is supposed to be a constitutional law scholar.  Even if he doesn't believe in equal rights for all, he has had to have read about the cases, and has to know.  This is the world we live in, where saying shit like he said will lead to accusations of his being, and/or saying white supremacist bullshit.

First things first.  Why the fuck are seemingly intelligent people posting their trollish thoughts on Twitter, still?

Secondly, why do well educated, savvy white supremacists opine in public about anything relating to Black or brown men or women?

Thirdly, how old can someone get before we can judge them harshly not only for what the fuck they say, but the mere fact they get whiny when judged harshly for merely saying anything at all, without any reservation for judging them?  I will say 14.  By the time someone is 14 they (assuming not home schooled,) have been socialized not only to do what they are told, and not give lip to their teachers, but more is the point, they are experienced in being judged by their peers. And other kids too.  And older kids.  That shit can really be merciless.  Point is, at 14 you know the risk!

Back to the individual asshole.  So he got sidelined, and his investigation took until the end of the term, for them to say, opps  sorry.  come on back.  And within a day or two after publicly rejoicing in his vindication, he decided to quit.  And a few days after that, he scored a gig with the right wing biased Manhattan Institute.

All that is just the set up.  Now for my real comment.  the What Part Am I Missing part?

Asshole has been complaining all over the interwebnetubes about how modern academia is too overly populated with like minded liberals.  So he quits the liberal enclave and returns to the comfort of more like minded people, at a right wing biased shop?

And he thinks he is some morally superior creature?

And other like minded people do too?

What am I missing?

Pseudo Intellectuals, Gaslighters, and Other Common Toxic Scum.

So I caught some of Andrew Sullivan's "60 Minutes," piece. I stand by my general opinion of him.  He is the most over educated moron I know of.  Even if he likely isn't.  Short version of it is he, like so many conservatives/republicans, believe in a mythology.  Well several, actually.  But they overlap like some Venn diagram of mental disease, disorder, dysfunction, and delusion.

Lately, Sully has been getting press for being part of the anti 1619/CRT/Black people/factual and objective reality crew.  And I think he is part of the anti cancel culture crew too.  Like I said, Venn diagram.  Let me take another look at his "creds."  How can a bitch earn a PhD in Government at Harvard, and pretend to deny that the American nation was created by a group of wealthy elites who above all else, established a government to protect their wealthy elite class and interests?  And further and relatedly, that the legal system, not only is a system, but one that was designed to protect their wealthy elite class and interests?  And that given that the fledgling nation's total economy was greatly dependent on race based slavery, and required an invention of this thing called whiteness, in order to make the whole terrible thing work? Harvard should rescind his degrees.  It is one thing to graduate Harvard and join up with the forces of evil.  And by that I mean conservatives/republicans.  But it is another thing to run around saying shit that clearly ain't true, and furthermore clearly is in opposition to the core facts of his degree subjects and disciplines.  So fuck him.  Pseudo intellectual.

Next on the shade list is the NY Post's Miranda Divine.  Yesterday, or recently at least, she argued that Joy Reid is both a racist and sociopath for not believing murder boy Rittenhouse's teary performance was anything more than a performance.  And by extension, every white person also not convinced of his sincerity is a sociopath.  According to her.  Listen up lady.  Not having any sympathy for one specific person is not within the definition of sociopathy.  And every time a not white person references that a white person is white is not within the definition of racism!  Gaslighter!

And for other common toxic scum, let's mention dirtbag, traitor, convicted but pardoned con man, Steve Bannon. Throwing a fit outside of the court house after your first appearance on your brand new Federal crimes was not a good idea.  If you had a better lawyer, he would have told you to stifle it.  But that scumbag was spewing such bullshit himself that it is clear that being prudent was not his game plan, either.  Toxic scum!

Althouse Almost Nearly Gets Close to Getting it.

Firstly  the base lines.  Blogging  is an inherently  self centered pursuit.  Secondly, it is not likely to solve the nation's  or world's problems.  That being said,

few things are more entertaining to watch, than wing nuts fighting.  Even  blog to blog, which can get tiresome fast, can be entertaining.  But I am not saying Althouse's  go round with that racist, sexist piece of shit,  @ Instapundit is  entertaining.  It actually is kinda  sad stuff to see, really.

Close but not close enough to getting it.

In a nutshell, Althouse  is taking issue with InstaSexistRacist's  mischaracterizing of some argument  she made about some aspect of humn sexuality  and choices  related.  She takes  pains to deconstruct the errors  that  InstaSexistRacist nmade regarding  what she said.  And I am not going to get lost in that briar patch.  I will just say the following:

Yo!  Althouse!  How many fucking years have you been reading   InstaSexistRacist  (and how many other of these  conservative  lying sacks of shit) with out knowing that they lie?  That is part of the Conservative play book.  Strawman argument, followed by red herrings, and a few flat out lies  is the usual format of a conservative argument.   She stops short of that conclusion.

To make matters even sillier, she skips over the patently  obvious.  Shit bag  professional conservatives like  InstaSexistRacist are in fact sexist.  And if they could they would take laws regarding women back to the 19th century!

But even more weird, she goes on a Rush Limbaugh  sidebar.  She claims to get his  humor, but again misses the point.  She claims  he uses  absurdity to highlight absurdity.  Funny  (meaning not so much)  but his show does not appear to be a comedy show.  He is a political hack, and advocate for the wing nuts and other right wing monsters.  When one uses one's own  warped and nasty  and  demeaning  "sense of humor"  while advodating  specific positions on the political issues of the day, one is engaging in a stupid and foolish  form of argument.  But I say again:

Strawman argument, followed by red herrings, and a few flat out lies is the usual format of a conservative argument.

What do law professors  tell their students?  Never crack a joke in front of the judge?  I am not saying  Limbaugh  has to live by such a harsh  commandment.  But he really  has no skill as a comedian.  And he and the rubes who listen to that shit   should know, it is a stupid way to make a point.

Anyway, at the end  Athouse deconstructs  aspects of  Dr Helen's  ( InstaSexistRacist's  wife  I believe)  poor excuse for social science (basically  I understand it to be  barely disguised  wing nut propaganda) book.  I repeat:

Strawman argument, followed by red herrings, and a few flat out lies is the usual format of a conservative argument.

Yes  I deliberately  followed the rule of repetition there.  I actually  think Althouse has known for years and years, that lies  are the foundation of conservative arguments.  I guess that she really doesn't give a shit, as long as it is not her that is being lied about.

About Benghazi and Patreaus Gate.

Keep at it, dick headed conservatives.  Just when your party should be thinking, ya know, when we shove knotty tree branches up our own asses, it makes our asses hurt, you go and grab another branch and shove it up your ass?  Have at it!  And by that I mean the whole Benghazi fake scandal circus is not helping them.  It will just solidify the view that they are corrupt, stupid assholes.

Likewise, I compare the perverse amount of republican attention paid to Gen. Patreaus'  dick, to the way the GOP was obsessed with President Clinton's.  Seems to me  that GOP men are way the fuck too interested in other men's dicks.

Just saying.

Self inflicted butt hurt, and dick inspection.  That is the GOP of 2012, going on 2013.  What shit headed assholes.

Post RNC Thoughts (even if I avoided actually watching in real time.)

Mitt Romney's campaign pivot. A noun, a verb, and Jobs Jobs Jobs! (No real plan there, though. Just trust him. Just like you were supposed to just trust Nixon's Secret Plan to end the Vietnam War.)

I might as well do my at least summarized deconstruction of the campaign.
(1) Trickle down theory does not work. Any economic plan based on tax cuts is a lie on a par with the biggest three lies of all time -- the check is in the mail, I'll respect you in the morning, and I won't cum in your mouth . . . this time. Swear!

(2) Dems generally and P. Obama specifically do not want to punish success. Taxes in America are at 100 (or so) year lows. Remember that. We not only got to where we are despite tax cuts and low rates. To a great extent we are where we are because of that. Anyone promising to fix the economy with lower taxes is a liar on the order of . . .  see the previous entry.

(3) A political party/movement that is fundamentally antagonistic to the idea of a robust Federal Government is every bit as disaster-enabling a plan as appointing the local wolf to be Shepard of the Flock. There is a total disconnect between ideology and goals (wolf = kill sheep) and function of Shepard (protect sheep from being killed.)

 (4) To a carpenter, every problem looks like a nail, and should be dealt with by hitting with a hammer. Likewise, if someone is ideologically fixed on the idea that government is too big and need to be smaller, don't trust them when they say the solution to the current problem is shrink the size of government. There is a name for that: "One Trick Pony." That's the kind name. The more harsh but accurate name would be ideologue. Said either way, those kind if people should not be allowed to work in the government. Again, wolf and sheep.

 (5) privatization is a power and money grab for the plutocrats. The Ryan entitlement reform plan is more about transferring government (meaning The People's) money from the government to private hands. Pigs at the trough. Don't believe the hype. That is what that is about. Not reform, but the biggest transfer of wealth in the history of history.

 (6) Plutocracy is evil. The last time we as a nation were so close that brutal and unfair a system was the post Civil War era, where the rich literally got away with murder, and they murdered the rest of us with the casual indifference of children playing with toys. Think I exaggerate? Google about how many people died in the mines and in the factories, and making buildings, and digging tunnels, and building bridges,  and rail roads before the workplace and general safety reform movements kicked in and started getting results. Yes. They the plutocrats consider them the good old days. For most folk, they were the days when life was brutish, nasty, and short.

 I'll stop there.

I Despise the GOP.

There are many things wrong with the GOP (like every thing about it,) but this to my mind is a perfect . . . demonstration . . . of how intellectually bankrupt and generally delusionally hypocritical it is, as an institution. A morbidly obese man delivers a speech railing against "self-indulgent culture." And gets an ovation.

Nothing To See Here But Politics. Just Move Along.

I don't think the GOP is sticking it to Akin for what he said being so insulting and disturbing.  I think they are cynically and hypocritically  on his ass for saying something embarrassing to the party that also is putting the issue of the GOP's plank change out there, ahead of schedule.  This year those evil fuckers are calling for a Constitutional ban on all abortion.  Evil fuckers.

He messed with their messaging, and now has everyone thinking about this stuff.  So he has to get punked for it.  Not that I think punking GOPers is a bad thing.  I want the whole party banned, myself.

A Tale of Two Realities.

MSNBC cohost  Touré made the bold move in not only calling out the Romney campaign for it's racist dog whistling, but used the controversal and scandalous term "niggerization."

Go here.

The Main Stream Media could not care any less. They do not seem to want to really go there, against  Team Romney on race, or even report on it. But the wing nuts went apeshit over this.

I am not even going to link it, but you can go over to Breitbart or the Daily Caller  yourself and see for your self.  Now is this any thing particularly important?  Not yet.  But if the issue of whether or not Romney has been running a racist campaign finally gets picked up by the MSM, then it will get interesting.  For now its  just the usual tit for tat.  Liberal call out conservative for being a racist.  Conservatives go btshit.

Oh/  Speaking of going batshit the head of that conservative lobby group that had a minor shooting incident over the past couple days?  Well he doesn't think that people want to take shots at the FRC on account of it's hateful policies.  NOOOOOO!  It's only because  the SPLC  called them out as being a hate group.

It's the same level of idiocy as with the playing of the race card, card.  It is never the fault of the conservatives, what they think, say and do.  It's the people who call them out on the shit they do, that are at fault, according to them.

I wish we could just ban the GOP and be done with it!

That's It. No More Pretending They are Not That Bad.

I've pretty much decided to call GOPers Nazis, from here on out. That's because I think they are actually, truly no better than Nazis, on the evil index. And the reason for that is they are delusionally self important, and much too drunk on their ideology. And at core, their ideology is about selfishness; accumulating for themselves, and doing harm to others in the process.

The only difference is the body count.

And YES. It was the selection of Ryan as the VP choice, that sent me over the edge. And I have been on that edge for some time. but to see Willard push the ticket further to the Nazi Wing of the GOP just tears it for me. The whole party is no better than Nazis, to me, at this point in time.

They Actually Believe That Shit!

Premise, and rhetorical question.  No one in their right mind would go to a doctor, who's stock answer to any illness or injury was,"KILL THE PATIENT."  So how can it be rational to vote for candidates who's stock answer to nearly every political issue is,"KILL THE GOVERNMENT?"

Election 2012 is almost upon us.  So make no misstate, moderates, independents, swing voters. The GOP wants to screw  you badly, and painfully, and no matter how big a hypocrite each one of them are  (cause they will always  bend their own rules for their own selves, and best buddies) they will swear to their vengeful god that they are doing moral good, as the deny folk food, medicine, shelter.  Dignity.  These monsters want to tear down everything good done by government in the past 100 years. Social Security. Medicare. Welfare. All of that. When they say insane shit like being on government assistance is like slavery, they actually believe that insane shit. Because they are insane!

Professor Dickface Licks His Own Balls Like a Dog, Over His Own Racism.

And you all know that dogs love that shit.

Anyway, Professor Jacobson chose to, in a way, congratulate himself on what I call his own racism, but he would call his keen ability to detect instances of use of the race card.

Go here for that sickening shit.

Oddly enough, according to his records, no GOPer has ever done that. I at least have never seen him call out any GOPers for that alleged shit. Secondly, I personally am very suspicious of the reality of playing the race card as a phenomenon. That is not to say I do not think that anyone has ever cynically brought up race in a political discussion. But I more mean that racism persists in American society, and it affect politics. Anyone (like Professor Jacobson) who directly or indirectly denies that is either, (a) a god damned liar, (b) and/or fucking stupid, (c) and/or a racist, or (d) all the fuck above.

And given his record, here is my guess as to his reasoning.  If a non GOPer/Conservative mentions race, it's playing the race card.  He seems to be that knee-jerk about it.  And lord knows, he never deconstructs the subject of his accusation.  He just calls it as he sees it.  And his racist bias seems to always  be in service.

Parting shot.  For an out of the closet  (and yet still in denial) racist like Jacobson to be able to detect instances of unfairly raising the race card as an issue, is as unlikely as it would be for a born-blind person who has never been exposed to a description of  (or been able to touch the surface of such) Van Gogh's Sunflowers  painting, to accurately describe it.

Concern Trolling At It's Worst.

With all the hand wringing, and wailing about "“politicizing” the Aurora Masacree, I find my self wanting to not only call bullshit, but scream that word in the faces of concern trolls, with such force it melts their fucking faces off.

Given the definition of politics and or political, and given the fact we talking about something that more than anything else is a matter of social and governmental interest, we really should be having certain discussions.  Such as, discussions about policy and gun control, and how lousy a job we do as a society at identifying such threats.  And yes, as well we can and should have discussions about individual and group enablers of ultra violence.  How soon is too soon is the wrong fucking question.  Because as happened the time before, and the time before that, we are way behind.  We are no where near too soon.  We are way too late.  Actually.

You Didn't Build That, Bullshit.

I was reading on some blogger's site  (silly person Ann Althouse) where she set up a false comparison between this  (so called by some) gaffe, and Romney's "Corporations are people too."  I think she messed up there, but there is something of note.  That is, taking P. Obama  for the meaning intended in the context of of his remarks, and Romney for his, we have two starkly different views of the nation and priorities and values.

P. Obama is promoting the idea and ideal I already have said is the core message of the John Donne Poem,"No Man is an Island."  Romney is promoting corporatist oligarchy.  Choose what matters to you in the voting booth this year.   I'm on the side of real flesh and blood people.  Not bundles of property rights attached to a government charter that allows for joint enterprise in order to secure profits for shareholders.  The former is what our nation is, what is always was supposed to be about.  The latter is just the ugly cost and reality of "doing business."

The difference between Democrats and Republicans.

The Democrat: "Hey. You don't have health insurance. Let's get you some."

The Republican: "Hey. You don't have health insurance. Despite evidence to the contrary, we say the USA has the best Health Care in the world (*cough* if you are stinking rich and can pay cash *cough*.) Ideally and theoretically you should have the best you can. You don't want bad insurance. You don't want socialized medicine. And even if historically the market place and market factors have driven the cost through the roof and into outer space, the last thing you want is a government solution. Despite the fact the only thing that actually could drive average personal and cross market prices/costs down is the heavy hand of government, smacking down private sector greed and inefficiencies.

Oh. And we don't want the taxpayers to have to pay any more for your health care (even if they do, in the most inefficient and costly way now, truth be told. Either in increased local, state, fed taxes, or "costs" passed on to the other, paying consumers of health insurance and care.)"

"So you don't get any health insurance. You're welcome."
