News flash.  Mrs. Palin is still a rube.  And her stock at FNC is so low she's mainly doing the B list shows, over on Fox Business.  I wonder if Roger Ailes and the company got their money's worth out of her contract yet?  If so, take the Redneck Xena off the air.  Please?


I am tired of the "They are not racist, but . . ." arguments.  That is not a news flash.  But I want to see some strong voices with high media profiles  make the case that calling someone racist is not impolite, as long as their behavior warrants it.  We can never really know what is in some one's heart, even if they say,"This is in my heart."  Fuckers will lie.  Particularly if they are wing nut racists who tend to believe the line is always there where the next guy said something stupid.  It is never right there under their feet, when they say something stupid.


Anything else for now?  I saw some polling showing that a race between P. Obama and Romney is tighter than one between  P. Obama and Newt.  Newt gets creamed.  It's nice to know that only so many Americans  are freak flag flying, flaming idiots.

Newt: Don't Stifle the Audience Cheering the Candidate's Attack on the Media.

Well I originally wanted to post this just because of the topic in the title.  The bizarre, mentally damaged person's  complaint, that the audience was being stifled in siding with the candidates  AGAINST the media?  Then again  I don't get this redneck, wing nut animosity against the media.  I think it's pathological.  I mean I get it.  that Newton Leroy, Crown Prince of the Redneck Horde, scores points with the minions every time he does that.  But it makes no sense.  The job of POTUS is not to be at war with the media, for cryin' out loud.  That has as much to do with being POTUS as one's ability to knit sweaters!  (But I do get it  -- it's an us vs them, identity politics, in group bigotry thing.  And that's why I think it's pathology.)  Anyway . . . .

I stuck with the video about 1/2 through.  Talk about hypocrite or self blindness.  Newt rants about the dishonesty of Romney calling him an influence peddler.  Now why the freaking hell would any corp  hire him as a so called  consultant?  Because he once had been a history professor, or because he once had been Speaker of the House? 

My gods!  The nerve of this bullshit, redneck millionaire.  It's hard to be a standout liar among the GOP  but we can call him a contender for the worst of the lot.

What is the damage with these wing nuts? They get stiff and wet to see their primary candidates take smacks at the journalist/moderators? HOW IDIOTIC CAN THESE PEOPLE BE?

The job of running against the current POTUS, never mind being ...POTUS is NOT at all about how well one can condescend to some journalist. These people are idiots, if they think that is at all a qualification. They might as well be cheering the candidates ability to knit sweaters.

Some, Meaning Too Many GOPers are Evil. Stupid Evil. They Gave Newt a Standing O?

For essentially building up and tearing down some straw men.  For doing what I think of as a reverse straw man  --  talking about how work is a good thing.  Oh.  And on top  of that telling grotesque lies.

First, the reverse straw man.  In extoling the virtues of work, Newt not only dodged the explicitly racist tinge of his earlier black kids should be janitors, uber gaff.  But he basically ignored that part and made some actually bland but popular statements on the level of, we can all agree that not strangling grandma is the right way to go.

Now on to the lies.

Arrghh!  Again, his theory about how a NY City school's physical plant is run is purely ignorant, and based on a lie. Newt keeps on using the word "janitor" for NY City Custodian. Who is a department head. Who is a manager. Who hires and supervises staff and contractors as he keeps operational what may be a multi million dollar facility. Confusing a NY City Custodian with the guy who actually mops the floor, is like confusing the Boatswain on a destroyer or cruiser, the Warrant Officer who is in charge of the non engineering structure of the ship and the decks, with the seaman who actually swabs the deck.

But hey Newt. You gave a stirring defense of the concept of work. And you not only doubled down on the lie about what a NY City School Custodian is.  But you invented or at least spewed a not so common lie that elites don't like people earning money. And those twisted GOPers in S.C. cheered him.

Now of course I am going to turn and spin this/that into some slam against wing nuts. I am what I am. I have an agenda. I am a hack (capable of actual near perfect objectivity when I flick the necessary switch in my head.) But seems to me the right wing/wing nuts are more likely to fuck up, deliberately, metaphors and use of adjectives, and language as a matter of pride and practice. Turns out that piece of shit, Newton Leroy, the current front runner for the GOP Wannabe Race is particularly guilty of making that shit a conscious part of the GOP Rat Fucking manual of dirty tricks. The Sad, Tragic Truth Behind the Wing Nut Love Affair With (This Week's Newt.)

Ok. I usually reserve my broadsides for the GOP pols and pundits, and other alleged leaders of the legion of doom that is the Right Wing. But every now and then, I take a swipe at the rank and file. Because . . . with out them, the so called leaders would have nothing to lead. In modern warfare, bombing the population that fields and supports the enemy army is fair game. So here goes.

Now ...of all people, it was David Brooks, who recently came up with the brilliant (but not original) answer to the question, why does the rank and file of the GOP/Right Wing have such love for seemingly insane people? (Like Nixon, Bob Dole was more than a little loopy, McCain's not too stable, Palin, Bachmann, Perry, Cain, Santorum, and the one who was focus of Brook's article, Newton Leroy.)

Here is the punchline/answer: "Most (right wingers) just want somebody who can articulate their hatreds, and Gingrich is demagogically happy to play the role."

(Brooks had it as "most people." But sorry Dave, that's the Wing Nut way, not the general way.)

Now I confess that I originally posted this on my FB wall, and now I have a bit more to add. And I am going to pull in at least my current embarrassment of a Governor, Chris Christe, as in exhibit. Oddly enough (go watch some Ann Coulter vids from the past year and see/hear for yourself) Christie gets this weird love from wing nuts, because not only is he a verbal bully, but he looks the part, being all huge and obese and dangerous looking. Granted, the person in the world he endangers most is himself. Talk about a triple coronary waiting to happen. But wing nuts just go for that shit in a way that liberals don't.

And I have to say, yes, not much of a confession. But I do prefer P. Obama giving a little push back to his detractors. But I would not support someone who's usual demeanor was being pugnacious. That's not only a turn off for me, but it's usually the sign of at least some lower level emotional/personality disorder. People like that are not effective leaders or statesmen. Even if they can get their way sometimes by being a bully. That's going for the slim chance of short term gains over the rational and adult way, seeking long term security and prosperity. Fuck that, and anyone who supports that kind of government. Well . . . sometimes I think we need some more actual ass kicking. But I mean literally. That or at least to have the right people retired from the game. Or embarrassed out of it. I do have some cunning and devious plans. But that still is not dependent on supporting being a public bully.

What did Teddy Roosevelt say? Speak softly and carry a big stick. That makes more sense to me than being a fat mouth, bullying douchebag. I can't say no one likes fat mouth, bullying douchebags. As what I am saying here throughout this whole post is that way the fuck too many wing nuts not only like fat mouth, bullying douchebags, but are willing to vote them into office. Fucking idiots. But more's the point, dangerous idiots.

Not Making Predictions Here. Just Speculating Out Loud.

Follow me. Some of the GOP insiders are going batshit over the prospect of Newt as nominee. I have heard dire predictions, he'll kill the party. Bla bla. Yadda, yadda.

And now we have the converging perfect storm coming with the Trump Debate. So far only Newtie is in. Now could this be the thing that reduces the GOP to level of respectability reserved for junkies after they shit themselves?

We will see.

Not Feeling It.

I mean, ya. Sure. If I tried really hard I could get all upset about Ron Paul's tone deaf racism, but ya know? We did this dance before with the son. Now we know where son got his buttfuck insane, racist-friendly, if not loving ideas from. So it's hard to be at all surprised, or otherwise pretend, we didn't know this before. But here goes.

Dr. Rep. Paul. Listen up. If one recognizes a "property right" in being able to discriminate by race, and then one goes even further and defends the "property right" in being able to discriminate by race, and one doesn't approve of laws that impede this "property right" in being able to discriminate by race? Then one is defending racism. Whether or not your heart is in the racism part is so close to irrelevant, that it really doesn't matter. You are supporting racism. That's not classic racism, in the sense one is not engaging directly in the racist act itself. But one is so culpable in the offense, that ya know? (Guess you don't, so let me tell you the truth) what you are doing is so close to racism, that we will just consider you a racist. We will continue to consider you a racist unless and until you change your mind and say that racism is so personally against your beliefs that you think government should fight it.

You are not allowed to pretend to be neutral. Either you are against that shit, or you are not. And if you are not, you are supporting it.

And a few quickies. Huckabee likes his big fat Fox paychecks, so he's not going to run. But I am sure he will say stupid stuff, still. Expect more racist-loving dog whistles.

Newt is in the race. He invented a new racist dog whistle, "Food Stamp President." Then denied the racist dog whistle. Then he doubled down and pulled out the tried and true one about "Detroit." How many different ways can this old Georgia bigot imply that P. Obama is taking the nation "Ghetto," with out actually saying it that bluntly? We will see, as I am sure he has only just begun, with that rancid shit.

Let the shit storm begin. It should get to be particularly rancid when Herman Cain starts stealing Newt's lines or line of business. And Bachmann? Oh my gawd. I should not want to see her go down that road. But I got to say, we know it's coming. Can't stop it. It's a runaway train of racist crazy talk coming round the bend.
