That 13, Wait, He Just Turned 14 Years Old Kid.
I know that I am not a GOPer. The buzzwords and dogma that send a tingle up their legs, leaves me under stimulated, nay, make that unstimulated. So hearing some pubescent Ronnie Reagan wannabe quote Reagan and say that government is the problem not the solution? Well, not only is that not evidence of intelligence in my book, but it is the sign of someone who just doesn't get it. Like my remark from a few posts ago, The people who cling to that ideology not only lost the election, but they nearly destroyed capitalism. It is time for them to get over their ideology and move on. Never say never, sure. But one must really be a knee jerk adherent to dogma to still spit out the government is the problem line. That is particularly non respectable a view when it was some unfortunate coincidence of international credit/monetary trends, and some extremely greedy and destructive crony and selfish corrupt capitalism, that was allowed to run amok. And that was allowed as we had a negligent Republican Crony Capitalist in the WH who if not personally, through his subordinates, took laissez faire policies to the point where the regulators and watchdogs of the market were basically told if not blatantly told, not to enforce the law. And in a nutshell, that is what drove the economy into the tank.
And some Republican child is hailed as a wonder because he parrots the underlying theory that allowed all that to happen?
Well I don't want to just beat up on the kid, metaphorically.
He is healthier looking than Rush.
He is obviously smarter than Not Joe the Not Plumber.
He is more articulate than Sociopathic Succubus Sarah (and likely has not committed a single self serving corrupt action in office, on account of not holding even a school office, being home schooled.)
And he is not as obnoxious, or seemingly insane as any number of Right Wing commentators, pundits, or rank and filers.
He is just wrong on just about all of it, seems.
Oh well. He can only get so far with his version of the One Note Samba; even in the GOP.
Right?
