Happy Ides of March
I am not going to wax long on the idea. Maybe a little establishment shot, though.
Julius Ceasar was murdered by well-meaning people who feared tyranny, despotism, dictatorship and concentration of way too much power in one set of hands.
Granted, the end result of the political upheaval following the Ides was the Roman Imperium.
So they all ended up with centuries of tyranny, despotism, dictatorship and concentration of way too much power in one set of hands, anyway.
Guess good intentions don't mean squat, if you fail.
