My New Mantra. My New Signature Line, My New Uber Truth.
Instead, I will try to remember to say the following:
"They (he she is ) are not objectively sane."
I am working on a nuance there. And that nuance is only necessary to recognize as too many Republicans have a warped view of reasonableness and sanity. They will not call someone (on their side, in their club) insane who goes into a public restroom and solicits gay sex, and after being caught describes the conditions leading to their arrest as "Taking a wide stance." (Ok. That is more of a lie but work with me here.) Nor will they call insane some radio or TV host who calls any and every Democrat a socialist (again, is it a lie or delusion working there? Hard to tell sometimes.)
Nor will they say that anyone in any so called Christian Denomination past the Baptists on the freaky scale, is as a matter of course, fucking nutz.
Never mind the weirdness of saying that tying someone down to a board, tilting that board so their head is only slightly (and I mean, only slightly) lower than their feet, and putting cloth over their face, and pouring water over that, to induce a seemingly realistic experience of being deliberately drowned, is thought by some people NOT to be torture?
Ya. It is late, and I am not going to belabor the point, but way too many Republicans are not objectively sane. And not that I have any juice, last time I checked my blog ranked 4.7 million in place of order on the net. But I would like to see a movement where when ever a Republican says something that is not objectively sane, they are tagged for that.
This is not merely some partisan point. The future of the species is at stake, here. We need clear definition of what is objectively sane, and what is not. And we need to fight the not objectively sane stuff with vigilance, with disgust, and with contempt.
Can't allow reality to be further tainted by crazy shit. That will not do. So say I and so should we all say.
