The GOP Club for Assholes!
I have long suspected that many people are attracted to the GOP not mostly or merely because of the ideology. But are drawn because it seems like a welcoming place for all kinds of assholes, and assholery. Racism. Sexism. General meaness for anyone outside of the ingroup.
I'd compare it to the Worst Reputed Frat House at the college. But truth be told. It's more like a gang of rude, stupid, and mean 6th graders.

Mostly it's Fucking Evil Republicans Who Need This Advice.
.5 Things White People Should Do To Improve Race Relations
Oh. And Tim Wise's pointing out about how white people by that I mean Republicans/Conservatives) need to stop telling black folk to get over slavery made me think.
You have never seen a legitmate Republican Conservative media or political leader say that to jews over their holocaust. Just saying!

More Racism 2.0. The Abusive Spouse Edition.
Racist taunts at Obama should worry us all.
I read this article the other day and thought it interesting. But quickly forgot about it. But just earlier today I was lurking on some wing nut's Message Board. And reading the nonsene there about race, gave me this small insight. I will post it in the form of a rhetorical question.
Ever notice how the very people who are most likely to be threatened by the inevitible end of all the vestiges of generational racial preference and cultural hegemony in America, conservatives/republicans, are the very ones saying the country is more divided on race now?
Honestly. The GOP is now pretty much the abusive husband who abuses the wife, and says, something like, look what you made me do.
Anyway . . .
