What Is the Connection Between "Inglorious Basterds," President Obama, and those Racist Tea Bagging Death Eating Republicans?

In Quentin Tarentino's new movie, "Inglorious Basterds," the character played by Brad Pitt, Lt. Aldo Raine proudly says, "You see, we're in the business of killin' Nazis, and boy, bidness is a'boomin'."
And Lt. Raine's sergeant, Donny Donowitz, is of Raine's group of predator American Jews, who gleefully kill them Nazis. Sgt. Donowitz is so brutal, he beats Nazis to death with a baseball bat, doing such grisly violence that the German Soldiers have a nickname for him, based on his savagery: The Bear Jew.
Yes. If there ever is any group of people we can as nearly as can guiltlessly watch brutally murdered, it is Nazis.
Now on to President Obama, and the Republican Tea Bagging Death Eaters.
Is there any secret to why they have taken to calling Pres. Obama a Nazi, or making such comparisons graphically, in posters and what not?
Fucking Racists.
Now it might be over the top for me to wish those Racist Tea Bagging Death Eating Republicans meet up with an appropriately motivated Bear Jew. However, I think it is well fair to wish that their dreams are stalked by some equally frightening vision as The Bear Jew.
Those people fucking suck.

I Will Only Briefly Mention Ted-ly's Passing.

(I have been calling him that for decades. It's an inside joke. To me at least.)

And I am just going to say the following. It is the end of an era. We have lost a master statesman of the craft of the Senate Legislative process. And even if he is far from being a total saint, I think when it is all said and done, he did far more good than harm. One might say he spent decades trying to atone for that really awful night.

Anyway.

I still have that movie, "Inglorious Basterds," on the brain, even if I saw it Sunday.

With out going long, and I really enjoyed it, I think it is Tarrentino's most adult-ish film (granted it still is a teenager revenge fantasy, but it was put together by an adult.) But the movie does beg a very important and topical (now as ever as always) question:

is a psycho serial killer any less so, if they are killing in a noble cause, that is, in this case, killin' Nazis, who were the ultimate mass and serial killing shits of the species?

Yes, I have Been Absent.

But the news is still the same old bad acid trip, Clown Car Republicans acting butt-fucking nuts.

I have not taken a break from following the news; but I did, in reporting it.

Meantime, as I am here, I will post the following vid.

Right about now I am wondering if things have only got as bad with the American Talabani as I thought they would, or if they have surpassed that in frightening weirdness, yet?

Some Dude on HuffPo Just Labeled the GOP as a Cult.

I likey have done that, obliquely, if not directly, already.

Anyway, ya it is not only like a cult. It is like a bad acid trip version of the circus.

Imagine a Felini movie on Crack. No. Make that Meth and Everclear.

Ya. That is the correct toxic cocktail/image.

We are Zen. We are Zen. We Need to be Zen, Moreso at Least.

Where's my catharsis?

It's not where I've looking.

That much must be true.

What I fear. What I hope.

I fear that one of these or more than one of these lunatic Right Wing Death Eaters is going to pop off some rounds at one of these hate protests. I don't want that. I don't want people killed or injured.

But what I do want? I want for there to be that Pulitzer Prize winning Photo Moment, that perfectly captures the insane hate and ugliness of this astroturf, neanderthal movement, and effectively, through the power that only an iconic image can provide, end it.

I want the movement ended, but more so, before someone dies or is terribly wounded.

This shit can get out of hand way fast. And there is little room between where this movement is now, and when it is beyond only being theoretically dangerous.

GOP Psychotic Rage. Peeling the Onion.

I know the following is not new, or even all that hard analysis. It is stating the obvious, really.

Beyond the "Fear of a Black President," psychosis that has energized the more rabid segment of the GOP Base, there is another level to be viewed, that explains their insanity. That is the fact that as long as the current population shift continues, and the demographics of the GOP remain sort of constant, the party is going to be on its last legs, if not nearly extinct in 50 years.

So what we are watching is not merely racists being racists. We are watching the GOP go through the Kübler-Ross Stages of Death. But that does not always work out smoothly from one stage to the next. I would say the GOP is mostly in Denial and Anger, all the same time.

But there it is. The Rage of the GOP is the rage of a feeble and declining elderly person, who knows that Death awaits, and really does not want to deal with it. So they fuss and fight and act out and will go out kicking and screaming and ugly, if that is what keeps them from having to accept the inevitable.

So kids. Be prepared for even worse shit from these people. And remember. You heard it first here, from yours truly.

Deal With It.

I am Having Trouble Keeping Track of the Racist Redneck Republican Horde.

But let's take someone's well aimed slam at "Death Panel" Alaskan Evita.

It seems that Alaska's system has been so mismanaged that actual people actually died on account of it.

"In one 2 1/2 year stretch, 227 adults already getting services died while waiting for a nurse to reassess their needs. Another 27 died waiting for their initial assessment, to see if they qualified for help."

Just fucking wow!

Is it Just Me, or Are the Redneck Racists Going Out of Their Way

to prove they should end up in the same (failed) evolutionary land fill as the Neanderthals?

The only amusing thing about the insanity coming from across the range (seemingly) of the GOP is how like whiny little girls all these Republicans are.

Sickening.

I am Getting So Sick of Badly Behaving Republicans.

Is their some hidden message in the offensive insanity? Are they like the ousted village chief who swears he will shit in the village's only good well, if he does not get his former title back?

What the fuck?

These people are sore winners, I remember, but I forgot how ugly sore loosers they are.

Fuck them all (I am not feeling at all charitable today.)

Best Outcomes and How Get There.

The GOP and industry led antidemocratic mobs trying to shut down debate at town hall meetings fucking suck.

How could this end in a good way for the country, as opposed to where we are leading right now, and that is to increasing violence? (The irony that it is white GOP members who are taking the country in the direction of "going ghetto" is not lost on me, but seems to be lost on them, apparently.)

We need what I think of as an ultimate fugazy moment. We need a Toto pulls back the curtain and shows the wizard is some chicken shit little old man moment.

We need to so completely delegitimize the story that no one but Fox will follow the story anymore.

I don't know what will do that. I think right now that if I had been hired by the Obama Admin, or were still at least tied into the machinery of the DNC and auxiliaries, I would be sending memos up the food chain saying how we need to pressure the other networks to tell the story straight. That they should in no way enable the conspiracy here. They have been doing it. They have been aiding and abetting the bullshit GOP since before GWB got elected, and that shit needs to stop.

That is not in of itself the aha moment. But that will at least remind the main stream media not to allow themselves to be played like a flute.

And if they stop allowing themselves to be punked like that, then maybe when the right moment comes along, they will cover it the right way. objectively, and that is all we need here; the truth. instead of truthiness or other kinds of bullshit.

I need to Choose Peace

and stick with it. Arggh. But I have a political aggressive streak in me that wants outlet. But what is more important is my health and well being. I will have to do better to comment and not fight. Resisting the urge to fight is hard. But we must do better.

Screw Current Events, and Such. Let's do some Haiku.

I know not of saints.
Mind what's too good to be true.
We're talking humans.

Yes, it's a new day.
But am I any different,
Save a day older?

Let's skip the cliches.
I've been hiding from the fates.
But they're always near.

Segregate or merge?
How treat what's likely, or wished,
And what lies between.

Why Am I Not Surprised?

Blackwater Founder Implicated in Murder
By Jeremy Scahill
August 4, 2009

A former Blackwater employee and an ex-US Marine who has worked as a security operative for the company have made a series of explosive allegations in sworn statements filed on August 3 in federal court in Virginia. The two men claim that the company's owner, Erik Prince, may have murdered or facilitated the murder of individuals who were cooperating with federal authorities investigating the company. The former employee also alleges that Prince "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe," and that Prince's companies "encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life."

What is Next? Matching Shirts and Armbands?

Right Wing Thugs Disrupt Town Hall Meeting.

Disruption is emerging as the Right's method of choice for fighting health care reform as the August recess and the ground war for reform begin. Weekend town hall meetings in Philadelphia and Austin were both disrupted by shouting bands of the same basic wingnut type we saw at McCain-Palin rallies in 2008 and at the teabagging events of earlier this year. As previously, video from these events clearly demonstrates just how crazy the grassroots Right has become.

Fuck a duck. They get worse and worse.
