It's a Bad Precedent

I can well understand why Van Jones "resigned." But it is a bad precedent. Sure, right now with the President's polling down, the Health Care Bill besieged on several fronts, and a lot of fights going on, the Administration does not need that too.

But anything that lends credibility to the Death Eating Tea Bagger faction is not a good thing.

I honestly think they should have put it off just a few months longer. Glenn Beck was almost sure to totally loose it if he were just left alone. Now he will be reinvigorated. And honestly it is not only the raving loon mentally ill folks paying attention to him. Some otherwise reasonable people do, too. He is the most histrionic of the Fox News peeps now, and those people just love them some dancing doggies in tutus.
