The McChrystal firing.

I will be brief about it. Personally I can see both sides of the issue. At first I thought keeping him in there was the better idea, but the case for sacking him is good too. So I am not much on the fence, but acting like a Frenchman, and shruging my shoulders.

But the fun part is how the right wing is taking it. Some are passionately for the firing and some passionately against it.

And of course, some are using the issue as an excuse to repeat their tired old complaints about P. Obama and/or dems.

But watching some of them tear at each other is always good sport.

The Baroness is Old. And Doesn't Suffer Fools Glady, I'd Imagine. So . . .

I would hope that if this meeting happens, that the Baroness pulls a Helen Thomas and says, after, what she really thinks of 'Mama Grizzly.'

Sorry, Helen Thomas. I Can't Feel Sorry For You.

Way I say it:

This is America, and everyone has the right to free speech. That means everyone has to right to judge everyone else based on what they say.

Now if she have been misquoted or some such? Ya. I would have a different take. But she said what she said, and now must deal with the backlash.

It is a sad ending for an otherwise interesting and compelling career, I will say.
