Worse Than Deadly Viruses.
(First posed on my blog, and instantly nearly republished here.)2009 is shaping up to be the year the GOP jumped down the rabbit hole, and went way deeper into Delusion Land than Alice did.
But moving on to something not exactly different, here is my theme of the day. And it is particularly inspired by that notorious serial racist Rush Limbaugh. But the laundry list of Republicans who are in the same boat in my eyes is long, and I will give you some of the most recent offenders:Malkin, Coulter, Beck, Dobbs, Hannity, Liddy and any Right Wing Racist Redneck journalist or mere overpaid toxin-spewing commentator, or lowly media-ho pundit who has either
(a) given any support, no matter how abstract to the one Redneck Loony Tunes group, known as the Birthers, or
(b) called Obama a racist for sticking up for his friend, and against a facially bogus arrest -- AFTER the charges had been dropped, or
(c) and/or any of the garden variety racists in the GOP who are just pissed off because a black man is POTUS.
But the thought came to me thinking about Limbaugh's latest Jim Crow loving, "Birth of a Nation, KKK all the way-channelling," vitriolic smear at Obama. Cutting to the chase, I say racist Republicans like Limbaugh (and the rest of them listed) are not only embarrassments to the nation and beyond that, the species, but to all carbon-based life. I call him and the whole lot worse than the Ebola Virus.

The Ebola virus might be virulent and deadly, but it has no choice but to be that. But the Rush Limbaugh's of the world do it, by choice. And in the case of him and the other professional hate mongers, they do it for fame, and fortune, and lust of power to make life miserable for others.
Sickening, so says I.
