Another, and a Most Heinous Way Racism Rears its Ugly Head. Who's a Terrorist?

Some people (make that those of the Insane Clown Posse wing of the GOP) are hesitant to call that evil bastard who crashed his plane into the IRS building in Austin, a Terrorist. Despite the intent. Despite the rambling incoherent anti government manifesto. Despite the fact he personally declared war on the USA.

What the fuck.

Even worse though, some people of the same Insane Clown Posse ilk are not really down with the whole, condemning self styled enemies of the Republic, thing:

Rep. Steve King (R-IA) told a crowd at CPAC on Saturday that he could "empathize" with the suicide bomber who last week attacked an IRS office in Austin, and encouraged his listeners to "implode" other IRS offices, according to a witness

If they ain't dark skinned and Muslim they ain't terrorists.

Tea Baggers vs Imagine 2050

Tea baggers will in the end go down, even if they have some success in the short term. Why? Shifting demographics.

Imagine 2050 (I haven't scoured the whole website yet) represents the future demographic shift predicted away from a white majority population. And that is to my mind what is really at core of the Tea Bagger movement. It's the last march of the Rednecks. I have likely said this before, but it bears repeating. We have this white, christianist, right wing movement of angry, not too bright, and not too articulate folk who seem to be more upset that the country is looking less like them than anything else.

This is not genuine populism; it's revanchment.

Isn't Sarah Palin Part of the Media Elite Now?

Well?

Moving past that, I want to say something about the weird theory about her hand-a-prompter. Some people are saying she might have done it deliberately to further endear herself to her base. Now I can not say no way, and have any basis for saying that. But I could argue, why?

She gains nothing. She is now the object of more ridicule. Reasonable GOPers now have more reason to think she is a dull-witted rube. And, I would argue, she is enough of a stark raving psychopath to think she can get away with anything at this point. Lastly, this woman is strictly a checkers player. Chess Play Mind, that whole thinking three moves ahead, is definitely not her style.

But for the fact there is, in the far right wing of the GOP, a group of folk who have more respect for ideology than intelligence, she would have been a mere footnote by now. Now those rubes say it is the attention her opponents give her that keep her in the limelight? What the fuck?

We are not giving her money. We are not giving her gigs on Cable News. We are not buying her craptastic ghost-written book. We want her to go back to the Mat Su valley, and stay.

Anyway, back to the title/subject line. Why do the rubes not consider her an elite yet? Well, even if she is raking in the bucks, and working for a big, New York Cable News Station, making shit loads of money for hardly working at all, and getting $100,000.00 for a speech, the fee she says she will return to the movement, they still see her as one of them.

Never mind the facts.

P.S. I might have said this before. Ya know if she gave all that fee to Haiti Relief, that would have made people like me hesitant to throw shit at her for a time. Oh, and it would have been great evidence that she is not what I call her, a raving psychopath. So I guess I get to keep calling her that. Yea me.

How Long Does it Take For a Republican to Know He is Being Used?

Joe the Plumber goes off on McCain, says he 'screwed up my life'
By Eric Zimmermann - 02/14/10 11:12 AM ET

Joe the Plumber is no longer a fan of either Sarah Palin or John McCain, it seems.

Joe, also known as Sam Wurzelbacher, told an audience in Pennsylvania this week that McCain "is no public servant."

Joe The Plumber Finally Figures Out He Got Fucked Before being Kissed.

Now if only he gains enough insight to know it was as much his fault as McCain's, he might actually grow up!

Politics, Snow, and Other Things.

Politics have been weirder than usual.

I don't need to talk about snow.

How about a Haiku?

(Actually this was inspired by the Toyota recall.)

It's a big setback.
Who wants to drive a green car,
If it will not stop?

James O'Keefe is a Punk-assed Lying Ho-bag.

And he is nothing like a journalist. But I have to admit, his Borat Like stunt still has some people fooled. Some people believe that he actually showed up at the ACORN office in that ridiculous Pimp outfit. He didn't. He took those shots and then dropped them in his end product (I don't want to call it a story, leave alone report or something legitimate sounding) to convey a totally false impression.

That is all you need to know about his alleged journalism; he makes shit up.

Speaking of making shit up, his defense to the current Federal Charges, stemming from his felonious stunt at Sen. Mary Landrieu's office. What a crock of shit.

Here is the truth. "Although we clearly intended to misrepresent ourselves and mess around with the phone lines, we did not know it was exactly illegal. We are that stupid."

Go to jail punk. That is where you belong, with all that other stupid crooks.
