Yea this! Now mark me, Clearly, I am not one of those free speech extremists because I believe in judgment, in standards. And it is one thing when someone comes up with a new idea, we should at least give them a listen. However, when someone really is just re spewing the same old tired hate? I am not in the last bit sorry to disagree with the Interim Chancellor quoted in the article.

Some speech is good, and some is bad. We have to keep making distinctions and judgments, because if all speech is equally valid, no matter how odious, then all speech is equally invalid. And that is not a good idea. Society needs to flush the shit down the toilet, not leave buckets of it in the house saying, that is equal to the aroma of a rose. Because it doesn't smell anything close to a rose It smells like shit and is offensive, damnit!
